Request: Is it possible to mod the 22 PA announcers into 2K21?

I was wondering if it's possible to mod in the PA announcers from 2K22 into 2K21?

you can try to extract pa_audio_0XX.iff from 2K22 and put it in your 2K21 mods folder (where XX is the team ID)

If it doesnt work, probably newaudio/palines/* are needed, but the IDs changed between games so unless you extract everything ...

Same here! Maybe someone who's been modding sound effects and music can help to figure something out here?

For what it's worth, on 2k22 (which I believe works the same in terms of music), I experimented with exporting the game-intro music (the guitar solo type of thing) and then sticking that exact exported file back into the Hook's mod folder. Loaded up the game and got silence instead of the music. So whatever the issue is, it seems to have nothing to do with the WAV files themselves, but rather something to do with using the Hook to modify certain music folders, including eventmusic.

I agree that having the audio files from 2k22 on 2k21, especially the PA announcers, would refresh 2k21 for us and add additional longevity. I'm really hoping there is a way to make this conversion happen!

Yeah, I personally prefer the gameplay of 21 so would love to have the PA anncouncers from 22 in there. Like you said, it would be refreshing-
