I am genuinely interested to see just how dominant the Thunder can be over the course of a decade.

If Bosh & LeBron ended up going to Miami in this universe, there could've been some intense battles in the past couple years.

Grizzlies ship Gay to Mavericks in 8-player trade

In a last-chance for glory under Dirk Nowitzki, the Mavericks have traded away future draft stock for Rudy Gay, as the Grizzlies collect the spoils of their bargain pick of Kawhi Leonard. Long rumoured to be on the trade table due to the rise of Leonard, Gay joins a Mavericks team hitching their wagon to postseason success. The Grizzlies also gave up one of their promising swingmen in Tim Hardaway Jr. for instant improvement in Gerald Henderson, but their true jewel in the crown is the 2016 first rounder of the Mavs, which could be a valuable selection if the Mavericks can't gel together. Memphis have also boosted their backup PG stocks with Raymond Felton, while also snagging Ersan Ilyasova to join Marc Gasol on the block and provide an outside threat.
Brooklyn continue radical shift as Lakers, Clippers reshuffle

The Brooklyn Nets have radically increased their average age in the deadline, taking on aging Pau Gasol, Chris Kaman, Chauncey Billups and Jason Terry as they continue their rebuild. The Clippers see an upgrade at the Center position with the addition of Tyson Chandler, on the move for the second straight year, while the Lakers receive a younger and less expensive PF in Patrick Patterson. On top of their moves with Brooklyn, the Lakers also traded high-value import Bojan Bogdanovic to the Pacers, snagging promising big man Nikola Vucevic with the plan of building a new, fresh lineup during Kobe's twilight years.
J-Smoove, Crawford off to Houston, Hawks put stock in Payton

The Atlanta Hawks have bid adeu to two major pieces of their 2011 Finals campaign, sending both Josh Smith and Jamal Crawford to the Rockets for Elfrid Payton, sharpshooter Chase Budinger & stretch forward Jerami Grant. Payton will step into the starting role in Atlanta after a tenuous start to his career playing backup to Eric Bledsoe, while the Rockets look to bolster their roster around their current injuries to Luis Scola and Amare Stoudemire, adding the diversity of Josh Smith.
Golden State makes moves; send Gordon to Utah, Wolters to Washington for Gibson, Young

In another change to the Warriors lineup of their 2012 NBA Championship win, Stephen Curry's splash brother Eric Gordon has been sent to Utah for Taj Gibson, filling the gaping hole down low with DeMarcus Cousins. The Warriors also traded potential star PG Nate Wolters to the Wizards to bring in a perimeter threat Nick Young, as the Warriors look to focus further on short-term improvement in the prime of their stars.

I'm just surprised that Rose isn't among the casualties in Chicago!

Great to see this still going strong! Definitely a blow for the Knicks, though they obviously still have talent there.

Have to believe the Thunder are making it three in a row. They're shaping up to be an absolute powerhouse.
