NBA2K21 Tools isn't working

As of May 20, 10:10 PM EST I just saw 2k update another time after the big one we saw earlier, just wanted to let y'all know. I'll try to see if anything changed.

Aw man, this didn't work for me. I deleted the folder where it was installed and ran the setup once again. Once I launched the program while 2K21 was open, it still crashed. Did I do something wrong?

What I have done is to enter nba2k 21 without NBA2K_Hook once, with renaming NBA2K_Hook.dll, dinput8.dll to _NBA2K_Hook.dll, _dinput8.dll is worth updating something and then you go back in removing the renamed files, that is to say with NBA2K_Hook normally and everything is OK

You only need to copy both files in the main installation folder, replace the .exe file. It will ask you if you want to replace the exe, press on "yes".

I tried this and it asked me to login to steam. I have the epic games version btw.

Damn man. If that's true, then fcck 2k for that. I wouldn't be surprised if they did that. But just download the link Shuajota provided above and place both the manifest file and 2k exe in the main 2k folder. Not the mods folder.

There is no manifest file because deleted that file in the update 1.11, you have to extract the manifest and exe files from my backup in the main folder, the folder where you can see those dlls. Not in Mods folder, that folder is only for modded files.

Is there any way to extract some of the new faces 2k added? I really want to incorporate the new Axel Toupane and C.J Elleby faces into a mod but can't seem to extract them even with Shuajota's workaround.

I had a freezeing trouble after latest update, but somehow managed to solve it... Also I did all this steps recommended here and it works okay now...

But while solving that problem & reading all those caused mess here, I was thinking of all those who use irregular game copies & just adding patch updates content like faces, jerseys, shoes, courts, etc... and knowing that these guys don't have this issues we had or have right now is just annoying and makes them damn "winners"...

Once we have fixed 2KTools, I will try to find out where 2K placed the new manifest so we will be able to extract the new files with the export console.

Went in to the directory, the manifest that was there was also dated 3/16/21. So, I played for about 5 mins and the same thing happened. Went back in and loaded the manifest dated 5/20/16, reloaded the game and what is shown below is the result. I just want this fixed. It always seems like I'm the only one having problems. Have no idea what's causing it, and nobody else seems to have it happen in their game. Also some default CF's are showing up when I already edited them in 2Ktools and saved them. Wish 2K quit experimenting and leave the game alone and fix what needs to be fixed like the gameplay.
