Its saying "ERROR: Failed to load settings from 'config.ini' - 'config.ini' contains invalid path for 'NBAPath': D:\Games\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\NBA 2K21" when i drop the .cvs on the Cyberface.exe. Isnt that how "NBAPath" supposed to be?

Well it's a path used by a lot of people, but the error means that the directory doesn't exist on
your PC. Change it to
your game installation path.
Most likely it's this:
C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/NBA 2K21

I did everything you told me and it kicks me out of nba 2k

But i'm not able to get it to work either.
Changed the nba game and mod file paths to match my system
1. made a copy of the spreadsheet
2. Want to just demo it so i left all values as is (Scalabrine with Jr tats etc)
3. Downloaded as .csv and dragged into the command line box that opens when you click on the cyberfacemixer.exe
the black box just disappears after i drag the .csv file in.
I have tired changing the output cfid too some within the 6000s-7000s range but still no new png created. If anyone has any solutions please let me know
I had the black box disappearing thing happen to me too. I *solved* it by creating a shortcut to the exe on my desktop and dragging the .csv file directly onto the exe without opening it first.
You just made me a nets fan thanks bro! that worked

Been using the tool a lot, cant say enough about how great it is
Ive been wanting to add a different hairstyle to my actual created player, but I cant find where to get the ID for any of my created players or my mycareer player
I can combine different head models and textures all that as the tool is intended just fine, so I have no issues in terms of how the tool functions
It's super simple. I just can't ultimately do what I intended originally to use the tool for,
Which wouldve been to sculpt a created player like you would normally in the vanilla game and just add custom hairstyles or tattoos from other players
The mixing of faces is dope tho and I have been messing with it for some time now; I can just never come out with a result that I like, so that's just on me
My point is that id be perfectly set with it as soon as I could edit the hairstyles/tattoos of my created players
I like the faces and head shapes I crafted for them, just not the hairstyles, and of course I cant add tatoos to them in current gen

This is really a great tool, thanks for your work. But I got a problem here, is there any way to solve it ?

Sadly I don't think that's possible, the created players use completely different models and they exist outside of the Cyberface ID system (all created players have CFID = 0). But of course you can use a mixed face in MyCareer.

Sounds like your config.ini file is corrupted - try re-downloading the tool!

I love to hear that! Guess I'll have to go back to 2K20 to have a look-see

Can this work with files already in your Wagui folder?
Meaning I have some files that I have already modded. So I want to combine those. I was assuming if I change the NBA path to my wagui folder then it will work. I tried it but it keeps booting me out (this may be another problem since I haven't used it in a while).
Also I'm doing this for 2k20.
Basically I want to remove the tattoos from a player I have. I'm thinking this tool can do the trick, but if any of you have another option for removing tattoos or swapping body types please let me know.
thanks

You have to copy the files into a folder named Overrides inside your Cyberface Mixer folder, then the tool will find it and use it.

I tried it recently and its really an amazing tool, congrats Jeek
Just an idea, dont know if it's feasible, but if it would be a slight improvment if we could choose the eyes from another PNG (not the color or size but the 3D model inside a hihead.scne), and/or the mouthbag ?

I haven't yet quite figured out how to parse/save model files (I was thinking I would add the ability to blend between 2-3 players - maybe someday).
Anyways I think using just parts of a model wouldn't work very well, unless I were to do some rather complex transformations to make them match the position of the original model as closely as possible. So yeah, I don't think it's feasible, but thanks for the suggestion.

Oh hell yeah! This is awesome! I haven't been keeping up with 2K20 mods anymore, but this is enough to get me to go back and re-download the game.
Great job, and I'm really happy to hear my tool has helped in creating such an ambitious project.

Hi Jeek
This is what I got when I tried using the Debug because I was trying to fix the game after crashing when the newly generated cyberface is assigned.
This what the debug says..
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\NBA 2K21\CyberfaceMixer by Jeek (v0.85 beta)>CyberfaceMixer.exe -"C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\NBA 2K21\CyberfaceMixer by Jeek (v0.85 beta)\Cyberface Mixer Recipe Template - Recipes.csv"
ERROR: Failed to parse CSV - The given path's format is not supported.
This what I notice.. the appearance.info data is different from other pngs. The file size is smaller than the usual apperance.info data
I say like this after generating the cyberface( causing to crash)
? {

Sounds like it doesn't like the path to the CSV file - maybe it's too long. I would recommend moving the entire tool somewhere outside of your NBA 2K21 folder (e.g. in your Documents) to make the path shorter, maybe that will help.
And you're right, that apperance.info seems like it only contains the data for the skin, beard and hair, but not the base (head+body model). Have you tried using a different Base cyberface?

I have tried using fixing the appearance info data txt cause its way too short.
I will try to copy the base model png (appreanace.info) to the newly generated png appearance info. And thank you I appreciate your tool so much.
Also if the model has googles or mask, some of them work and some not
