Coming from 2k18,,,,,,20 or 21 PC?

So the last version of 2k I played was 18 and I thought of picking up either 20 or 21. Right now 21 is on sale for 25 bucks and obviously 20 is cheaper than that. Thoughts on upgrading to one of these versions? I play on PC and purely offline so online is not important to me. I love to mod the 2k games, so would be doing that as well

I would recommend 20 over 21, though obviously it's not going to receive any more official updates, so what you get is what you get. On the plus side, the modding community for the game is still active, so if you want current rosters and the like, there are people working on that (and you can obviously get involved with that yourself, too).

20 has more mods

21 is the most current/up to date (officially), with the most players probably online (though this is hit or miss on PC usually anyway)

I'm with Andrew on getting 2K20 if you want to have more mods/rosters to dive into... however... with 2K21 possibly being the last current gen game made for PC, it may get a lot of updates in the future

Gameplay wise, the two games are so similar that you may not notice a big difference.

get 20 over 21. I went back to 20 and the game is so much better. I wish Size ups were on 20. Player movement is much better on 20 as well.
