MyNBA has been announced

So they've combined 3 of the old-gen modes into a new one and are marketing it like was one crazy revolution of the franchise modes.

So for people who do not want to read the article:

New things:
- Tattoos (LOL)
- New Min and Max Potential attributes along with Potential (Like Boom or Bust attribtues) along with peak start, peak end, etc.
. New playable G-League integrated

Things still missing:
- Sign and trades.
- In depth prospect analysis.
- Improved draft class editors.

Tattoos
Glad to see tattoos back. Also glad to see the tattoo system improved.
In my opinion this will greatly increase the quality of created players.
Seeing this did give me a few questions. Will this apply to female created players?
Also if we have this, will we finally get to add/ remove head bands.
Overall a positive addition.

Setup Options
This + the Share option for Scenarios should greatly help this mode.
It still puts the onus on users to create greate bases/ rosters/ leagues if there are issues with 2K's default base.
BUT this makes things a lot easier in my opinion.

While not everything about this is groundbreaking, I do like the sound of it. I see the logic in streamlining the modes by combining them, and allowing us to turn certain features on and off depending on whether we want the traditional experience offered by MyLEAGUE, or more of the RPG elements of MyGM. The ability to customise rules and reduce the number of teams should come in handy as far as retro season mods, especially since those settings can also be shared alongside rosters. Pretty robust all around, from the sounds of it.

I'm kinda curious what "Ranked" is... would this be a mode where everyone plays on the same difficulty?

To me it sounds like the Leaderboard that's been a part of MyGM the last couple of years.

How do you even get ranked on a leaderboard in a GM mode? Do you have to play the games? Is everyone on the same difficulty?

One of three difficulties: Easy, Hard, or Medium. The way it worked with MyGM and its Leaderboard is that you selected the difficulty at the start of a new game, and as you performed the necessary tasks to earn points, you'd rank up on the respective Leaderboard. I assume if you pick those MyGM-like options in the new MyNBA, it'll be a similar situation. It also sounds like it's something they're still working out, but for those who don't want to deal with it at all, it won't be mandatory.
