Crowd chants. Where are they?

i haven't heard any crowd chants at all. i've played quite a few games and I haven't even heard a "D-Fence" chant yet.
I do notice that the crowd is REALLY quiet this year and the announcer and play-by-play is really loud. So, it's possible i could have missed the chants.
I don't see a slider for "crowd" in the settings though. Anyone know which slider turns up the crowd?

i heard the cow bells when i was playing against the kings. i dont really remember any other right now.

Ive heard the Rockets chant for Yao at the end of the game

Almost everygame in my Dynasty they chant MVP.

I think you can set the volume and such in the preferences section.
But so fair i have not heard any crownd chants, just the cow bells in arco.

today i heard the crowd in staples chanting ko-be, ko-be, ko-be and ive also heard the m-v-p chants.

yea they chant mvp for kobe and ko-be, i will have to listen in for the cow bells thats tight

nope the crowd doesn't yell defense with the organs playing the background, stomp their feet and yell we-will-we-will-rock-you, or act like maniacs when you hit the game winning shot. it would have been nice though... maybe in 2007

i was just playing a game that was close all the way through and in the 4th quarter the home crowd was definetly chanting defense and stomping their feet. so yes they do chant for defense, but it seems that they will only do so in close games.
