I'm pretty sure it's fake. Simple reasons: LankyMan and Big Nasty have their e-mail information on this forum, and Beast has his msn (which shows his hotmail address), so the prankster could easily send these e-mails to you guys.

On the other hand, it could be real since EA could contact you guys easily... we'll see on October 4th.

We will wait and see but before you download the file, I'd suggest to do a virus scan for security reasons.

Use common sense first before downloading a link.

Make sure it's a file from the EA server.

Look at the full headers of the email - does it originate from an EA server?

i think it was a spam. I have received email from EA and all the headers look like this.
