The anticipation is killing me.....

Here is my day.

I call up Gamestop and they SAY THE ONLY way I can get Live 05 tonight is by preordering.

So, I preordered it around 4 est. I go back at 6 est to pick it up(time they told me to), they tell me it won't be here until 9 est because the plane was delayed or w/e. So I got at 10 EST to play it safe, and 20 people are standing there waiting for it.

WHy did I waste my time preordering it to get the ame tonight when they did not even get it.

Anyone else encounter something like this? Btw, I'll have it tommorow.

this actually happened to me with madden last year. i preordered way ahead and the day came. i went to go get it they said they didnt have it yet, and to come back at such and such time. so i did. guess what, still didnt have it so i came back just as the store closed and they told me that they did actually have it but they were not allowed to sell it to the next day and i would have to come back. i was pissed that they lied to me so i canceled my preorder right then and there and got my money back. on my way out of the mall i passed by gamestop and noticed that not only was it still open but it was packed. so i wonder on in and they tell me they are leaving the store open til midnight so they can sell it to everyone then. so i set up camp with everyone else and when midnight hit(more like 1230-1245) i got my copy and headed on home.

My live is on a plane right now being shipped to me. I'm tracking it on fedex.com. It is estimated to get here at 3pm tomorrow afternoon.

About 40-50 minutes after school, perfect timing!

my copy is still waiting to be printed so umm, yeah.

2 or 3 days away for me still. Even though I'm 21 and in college, I can't be spotted bringing in the game, sadly. Thanks to mom, yes much discipline here. Family thinks that game does not help with school or work life. So I guess If I'm not a big help, I'm nothing in this house.
But this will change in the future, and live will improve as well. That's what keeps me going.
So for now I have to sneak around and talk about PURPOSEFUL places I have to go and get PURPORSEFUL things. ahaha so dumb. Good thing this game sounds so much like last years, otherwise I probably couldn't even play it without a fight. Ah come on live, come out already.
