Problem with speed and slider breaking

I’m surprised that not many are complaining about this but my biggest issue w nba2k is that the first game you play, it runs fine and then any game after the first, the speed and slider breaks and all the players run really fast and cpu no longer plays any defense. It’s been like this for years and I’m really hoping that they fix it this year. But I’m just amazed that not many are complaining about this. At first I thought it was just a pc issue and but I got 2k19 for my ps pro and still the same problem.

From memory we had a pretty long thread about it in the NBA 2K18 section.

Have you a Intel CPU with Hyper-Threading? In NBA 2K16 I fixed the speed problem by removing a HT Core for the game in the task-manager.

With "and cpu no longer plays any defense" do you mean your AI teammates or in general? I think it's a problem with the "dynamic" difficulty in the game since NBA 2K17.

Fairly sure PS4 Pro doesn't have an Intel CPU with HT.

One thread is not what I would call complaining lol. Why do we need to find a work around it? Why aren’t there enough complaints for them to address it? How do people still play this game with the issue. Every year I spent $59.99 on it to only find that the same issue remains and don’t touch the game anymore after it. Otherwise I play a game and then when the speed and slider break. Stop playing. Come back and play it another day and stop when it breaks again.

NBA live doesn’t have this issue. I can play as many games as I want and the speed and slider don’t break. But stupid Live only allows u to play w one team the whole dam season.
