My post was just to give a view from the other side when some express their disappointment.
As a side note, I don't have any issues with your timetable because I myself know that you take pride in making sure the project is 100% complete and to your satisfaction.

The comment about rookie mods from other sites was mostly to encourage others to do that. Some of my faces (namely the ones I made) are redundant because of those, so download them so they can be used. I even used that Cameron Johnson as a base for this class.
I made the point about why I make the class last year but I suppose I hadn't said it this year. That being said, having learned from last year I was very careful not to set a release date. Everything was left in flux regarding timing for this very reason. I didn't want anyone to hold me to a timeframe I wasn't comfortable with.

Well there's your problem man, you may have not released any official date to which you'd share this project but you were discussing on the forums that you were PLANNING on dropping it draft night, since you had a relatively large pool and felt comfortable with your safety net. BUT in the rare occurrence that it happened you had mentioned there's 12 prospects in total you hadn't accounted for and that you'd like to work on for the completion of the project. So all people really would enjoy from you man is the version you were going to release draft night, it won't affect you in any way, you'll still be able to continue working on your project until completion and then sharing that as well as play it with your friends. Releasing this unfinished version would only make (the fans you didn't ask for) very happy. Even if you didn't want a following or views or donations or whatever, when you create a product people are gonna be interested in that project. Again man we understand the entire reason you're doing this for you and your friends to just have an enjoyable 2k experience as you've reiterated time and time again but you could also provide that to the community you've been involved in with 2 releases, the one ready on draft night and the one you'll eventually complete. If again the only reason you do this project is just for you and your friends to have some quality 2k then there's nothing harmful in releasing the unfinished version fans of yours so desperately want.
Personally I'm just tryna have a good 2k experience like you and ain't tryna visit these websites in a completely different language downloading sketchy files.

See there in lies the problem huh...if I release an unfinished version than I’m everything I’ve criticized in the past. That’s the rushed projects with missing faces and inaccurate players that I’m not about to do. People want content, but I want a full product I’m proud of. If all 60 drafts picks would’ve been in the class I would’ve had no problem releasing it. But with a dozen missing, that’s not good enough. So I’ll finish those faces and release it.

Multi wrote:You wouldn't be releasing a project that was rushed with inaccurate players and missing faces and blah blah blah lol, you'd be releasing basically a mock draft version of your project. It was still the main project you were working on and planning to release but because of a wild night that project needed to adapt. Yes it'd be unfinished with missing the 12 prospects you didn't account for but it'd be a finished project in what you were originally going to release for this years draft so your point is just contradictory. You worked just as hard on your "mock draft" as you are and going to on your accurate draft. I don't understand why you have to be arguing with everyone over it though, we're all just trying to have a good 2k experience. At this point though it seems your too stubborn to release any version then your version of the perfect draft so I'm just looking forward to Shuajota's Realistic Roster that he comes out with.

I have been waiting on this mod for ages (even tho I don't really post here anymore) I have my MyLeague on pause at offseason to get this draft class in it. And for example, I'm fine with it. At the end of the day, it's better to get a "product" that is great not just fine.

Or both... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ No reason as to why the people who are fine with "good enough" can't get "good enough" while the people who want to wait for the complete product that is "great" are allowed do that. There never needed to be any arguing or "sides" to be taken, we just needed to be mature about this situation and realize we're all just playing a video game at the end of the day. Releasing an unfinished project to random people on the internet will not affect your finished project being played by you and your friends at all, which all of this is really about, you said yourself.

Release it, dont release it...totally your decision but if it's for you and your friends and you dont want to feel pressured to release it, why put up screenshots and a draft combine video in the 1st place as you know members are going to ask you about it?...no shade intended, just curious...

You’re looking at it from the wrong way man. It’s not about those who want it “good enough”. It’s about me releasing an unfinished product and I’m not gonna do that. It’s about the principle of it, I don’t want my name and the names of the guys that’s worked hard on this to be tied to an incomplete project.
Also, please don’t get it twisted. I’ve said it before, the motivation for doing the draft class begins because I want to use it. I’m not creating it for a profit or attention or something. But it’s not “only about being played by me and my friends”. I understand people are interested and I’ll release the project here, in time.
Thanks to everyone for staying rational about this and conversing like adults. There’s been great discussion.

No one's asking you to just completely forget about the prospects you missed and just release it cause its good enough, we're asking you release a mock draft "version" of your draft because a lot of us anticipated the release on draft night like you led us to believe but it didn't happen. Only the people "complaining" about the release date are going to be downloading the mock draft version you don't approve of or isn't good enough for you but all these other followers of yours defending will wait till your full release. Also I haven't been around this forum very long but from what I can tell you have been toxic, you respond with love and joy to the comments that defend you and compliment you but as soon as you get any sort of criticism or push back you immediately argue back instead of reasoning with one another. Honestly I'm only still replying because you've only argued and haven't given justification to many of my points. It literally does not affect you in ANY WAY to click save and share instead of just save, there is no principle to be spoiled because it's literally just part of the process when coming out with a full product. People release progression versions, just as Shuajota's going to.
