when I was working on the ltasky melo stadium I pulled items together from a few of the practice gyms and scrapped my progress more than a couple times because I decided in the end I wanted to use the glass doors from the gatorade gym

thanks, everyone's help and tutorials including yours have been helpful.

anyone know if its possible to change the color of these pads on the wall? I couldnt find any files associated with it. (This is the summer league arena.)

yeah you can do it somehow

I remember moving and changing them to make them bigger and stretch out over the whole wall
-messes up the decal though

If that is the stadium file I am thinking of then it is blue because of the magic, if that is their summer league gym

I would look through the arena scne and there should be some padding_c or cushion_c texture that has values that make it blue
find a "Min" or "Max":[R,G,B,A] that makes the texture blue so could be something like "Max":[0.1,0.1,0.8,1.0]

the .dds texture file within the sXXX.iff file might be 0kb so a shared file

EDIT*
cushion wall material has the albedo texture of practice_gym_cushion_c1

finding practice_gym_cushion_c1.tga

There might be a green mask to it with this 8388367 value change it to 16777215
The min and max are this but you can change all mins to 0 and all max to 1 if you want to then edit the dds texture however you want

The blue color comes from that 0.61 value

The texture just looks like this
if you change min and max to 0 and 1 then you will need to edit this texture unless you like the grey
alternatively you can use the min and max to change the color to whatever you want


The divider of the cushions is probably within the normal file and that is a shared texture but you would only edit that if you want a different sized padding look to the texture

This is really insane, good job!

looking at that hoop with no square and the black rim and it jogged my memory of what I did to fix it last time

if you take a normal basket_backboard_c.whatever.dds texture file and rename it to rim_c.whatever.dds I think it will make it look like a regular hoop again

make sure to check what the values are in the baskets.SCNE file under the rim_c part.

I would change them to have the same values as any other basket_backboard_c only difference should be that it is called rim_c and the binary file will be rim_c.dds

you should be able to move the light sources down in blender to brighten up your Life Time Athletic at Sky gym

you mean the lamp? i tried moving it already and nothing changed in game. I used a posteffects.fx from another arena originally to brighten it to what it is now.

I got the rim color back. Tried a bunch of different things but haven't figured why the glass won't change and look normal yet

the reflection in the glass shows the rim as black still

I think the model might be different I'll look at it in blender and try to remember what I did last time

Edit:
the problem with this basket is in the model. it does not have vertices making up the box on the backboard or the decals like the flag and nba logo

I tried some more things then thought the rec center had the same hoops so I tried those and got them to work by hiding all the other baskets under the floor
the main difference I saw later is that this basket is missing the smaller shot clock on top. I do like the shotclock up there so I'll try again some other day
