Ok, so huge step but an annoying problem. Depending teams, alignment isnt the same (set at left for home and away).

Unfortunately I don’t think you can fix because the problem is the letters used for WAS are just naturally wider. Something similar happened to me. If you look at the picture of my tsn scoreboard the shot clock is a bit off center. It has to be because when it’s at 24-23-22-21-20 it’s wider and sticks over unless you do it off center like I did. simply because a 2 is wider than a 1. Maybe bongo or Looyh can chime in here but I don’t think it can be fixed.


Edit.. looking closer it’s definitely the “W” is super wide which I’m guessing is just how that font is.

that's just how the font works out. WAS is the longtest team tricode.... i think CLE is the shortest, if i remember.
I always checked if three digit score (103, 120, 145, etc) fit with the tricode. I always picked WAS vs WAS (because they the longest tricode) set the 3 point shooting to 100... then went to town for both teams to get over 100 score.

from the looks of your scoreboard, not enough room for WAS to score 104 points.... might be clipping into the tricode. it was always a pain to release a scoreboard... then realize a score of 108 doesn't fit, lol

Just curious about your shot clock.... you mention whole numbers (24, 23, 22).... are you able to use decimal numbers (24.5, 23.8, 21.25) or do they have to be whole numbers? Just wondering if a decimal would fix your issue. Sometimes, depending on how particular i was on the particular day, i would move things in size 0.25 before i decided it was good. anyways, just wondering if decimals work.

Good eye, i made a full game simulation and 128pts clipped into the tricode.

nevertheless this evening has allowed me to move forward (score changes).

So I have to work on
- "tri score" work-
- notifications-
- "End of quarter" it comes over nbc logo (I tried to hex edit of end_of_quarter_end_of_quarter.3c2f75099ab9b5d1.animation makes but no change)

ps: bongo, great tuto , thanx again small tip about locked file : when editing files inside newscorebug.iff with the game running, you have to save and close files inside your editor, then close your editor. Doing that, file is no longer locked (because removed from windows temporary files).

As posted and requested here is another alternate Logo for Looyhs ESPN Scoreboard. This time a white Houston Rockets Team Logo. Yo will find it and the ESPN Scoreboard with only ESPN lettering attached

For tricode horizontal spacing

You should look into the scorebug_opt.SCNE

You can clip or scale the tricode to a certain horizontal width

For anyone who may want to use city name instead of tricode I will look into it. The titlecard2 file doesn't make use of the full team name anymore so I will have to find some file that uses the whole team name or a file that uses city names then will be able to swap out 4 bytes needed to change that.

Has anyone ever found where the stat overlays that pop up during gameplay are located? I’d sure love to edit those and move them around.

I still enjoy your 2k18 E**N classic scoreboards. You did great on those.
Anyways, that's a very peculiar picture. Hope you aren't under NDA with E**N or somthing. That particular texture is probably only available to a rather small group of artists. Will be easy for E**N to trace the origin back a company artist.

How about you upload a 4k version of that particular picture ---- just for clarity sake

Anyways, if you are under NDA, you probably should remove that. I've never seen that on the internet.
