Player DNA's / Community works

Sat Sep 29, 2018 6:52 am

Hey guys, this year 2k added an awesome feature that believe it or not goes back to 2k8
Player DNA! This feature allows you to share your caps and formulas for players making it easy to add for rosters!
Feel free to post your creations in this page with instructions how to download

I made this John Bagley using the CAP tool, this for Stildo's 1992 roster he is making. If he decides to use it, im sure it will be released with his roster.

Damm pretty darn close! I think if there was a bit more freedom on the face morphing the faces would really look on point!

Thanks!

My biggest problem with the CAP feature this year is that we can't bring in the back of the head, and just can't form the skull enough in general. Otherwise, I am mostly happy with it.

One of the best things about this year's game is that once you use the import player DNA option, the player isn't created anymore, he ends up being a real player in the game and his nickname is removed. For example, on the floor the commentators call him Bagley, nobody would know he was created unless they were super familiar with the CAP system or told he was created.

To do this: all you have to do is copy your created player to free agency, followed by selecting a player in the roster you want to overwrite. Go into edit player, and import your created player using "use nba player" under import player DNA. Initally, it will say his nickname when you go into vitals. But, once you exit edit player and go back into edit player, you will see that his nickname is removed, and hes a regular player in the roster. You can just go back to free agency and delete the Bagley you copied there.

One of my biggest problems with doing CAPS in prior games was the fact that on the court the commentators would call him "ABC" or other stupid nicknames. Now they call the player by his real name, and the player looks like a game made player in the roster.

Also noticed this D43....great news for all...also with Player DNA / Clone we can create roster quickly (Y) (Y) (Y)

Exactly.

I'm still requesting mostly made cyberfaces, but the end of the bench guys can be great CAPS that are looked at as real players in the roster.

This should do wonders for Stildo's 92 roster.

I made this Chucky Atkins using the CAP tool. I was able to get pretty close.

One of the biggest bonuses this year is that we can do more with the eyes. in my opinion, we can make a lot of these players look like they are not created at all.

You could use the Charles Barkley Cyber face

Or you can find multiple Charles Barkley formulas -- >https://www.reddit.com/r/2KDNA/

Thanks for releasing Bagley D43. He is awesome!

I’m going to go back through and make some cyberfaces for the main guys missing and key role players. I’d like to release roster when ready with the main 9-10 guys looking decent. Then I can Finish end of bench guys with an update. Just depends on time.

What imports with the bio vs attributes? I’m assuming attributes covers: attributes, tendencies, badges? Is there anything that cannot be imported/exported?

I would really love it if someone could upload or share the player DNA formula for Jamuni McNease or for that matter ANY of the Oklahoma Sooners players. Any chance that could happen?

Not sure if this is the right place for this or not. Anyway I created an Oklahoma Sooners roster for nba2k19. Now I am new to the creating a player in basketball games and honestly I am not real sure how well I did as far as creating accurate attributes. Not only that I am sure I buchered the realistic aspect as well. my user name is mnupioneers and the roster file is Oklahoma Sooners 19. If anyone here who IS ACTUALLY GOOD AT THIS would like to take a look and maybe even tweak it for me to make it more realistic I would love it. I would only ask you let me know here that you did. In fact I pratically am begging one of you gurus to tweak it for me. lol. I placed the sooners on the 76ers team so it should be easy to find.
