Live Ultimate Team - How is your team doing?

We really need to be able to manually designate inbounders in late game situations.

Legend challenges are back every Wednesday. You face a select number of legends representing each Division in the NBA, and you earn a permanent legend card from one of those teams if you complete the challenge. This week is the Atlantic Division legends (Knicks, Celtics, 76ers, and Nets).


New lineup I'm going with. I've stated this in the past, but I really like the fact that you can build a great squad without paying a single cent.

Sweet. Permanent legend cards? I can dig that. Not really any legends I really want that I don't already have, but I wouldn't mind getting a Larry Johnson, Steve Nash, or maybe even Wilt

I have the Mavericks Nash, and once you can tolerate his low defense rating, he's quite fun to play with. It's also funny how EA listed him, Kidd, and Ray Allen as legends, and they all join the Basketball HOF (before it was confirmed none the less)

Nice! I feel it's something they should've done a bit earlier, but it's still welcome content.

Atlantic Division Legends Challenge yielded Kevin McHale. Not what I was hoping for.

Got screwed over again in the ToTY Challenge, so I'll have to try it again after I stop grumbling. However, the Playoff Ladder Challenge yielded this:

Congrats on getting Harden! That's a good card to use for clutch situations.

I played the legends challenge and ended up with Bernard King. Was hoping for a better card, but at least he's an important piece for my developing 80's lineup.

In case the headshape wasn't obvious for next week's ToTY challenge, the next player is Kevin Durant.

Managed to overcome the AI cheese to beat the ToTY Challenge, and ended up with a duplicate Pau Gasol Big Moments card. Kept the non-auctionable one, and put the new one up on the block.

Just need the 90 ovr versions and its a 3 game challenge.

Saw masked lebron again in a challenge so they have to be releasing throwback players soon.

That Master Harden looks insane offensively. A little weaker defensively, as he should be.

Some things I noticed while doing the newest batch of Masters:

Bird's and Harden's defensive stats are incorrect based on that chart. They actually have an 87 and 82 in defense respectively.

There is strong evidence that masked LeBron James is in fact his 99 Master card, as they're the same archetype, and only the upgraded Masters are used in these games.

I sold my West and Stockton cards before their price drops in value. I'll sell Erving once I complete James' master challenge, and the SG 2/2 challenges are released.

You can sell your master cards? Or are you talking about selling regular legends?

That master LeBron looks like the best card in the game. Wouldn't mind having that.

Just got the Shaq one last night. I had given up after losing game 3 on a cheap comeback by the CPU at the end. Won game 3, no problem with game 4, but the last one was ridiculous. First try my first 27 points were from handoff cheese but I lost at the last second by 1. Then I switched all my 3 point shooters in (Curry, Rice, Thompson, Kuzma, Dirk) for cheese mania. Wound up winning by like 20. That master Klay looks like it's worth getting as well

Three-point shooting is crucial on the harder difficulty levels. I've ended up starting Mitch Richmond ahead of Clyde Drexler.

Took me two attempts to beat the Legends Challenge this week, thanks to some cheapness (though I almost rallied to take it). The second attempt involved a wild finish to the fourth, and a gamewinning shot in overtime. For my efforts, I got Dikembe Mutombo. Already had him, so he's up on the Auction House. However, I had enough coins to get an affordable Sonics version of Kemp, and Anfernee Hardaway. As such, I've put my Cavs Kemp up for auction.



That's pretty much completed my 90s All-Stars squad (Karl Malone and John Starks are currrently in my inventory). I guess Patrick Ewing, Alonzo Mourning, and Larry Johnson are really the only other players I'd want. Well, I wouldn't turn down Bird and Magic, especially as they could sneak in as 90s players, but they're long shots.

Also, this week's Playoff Ladder Challenge yielded Team of the Week Stephen Curry. Not bad at all. Haven't attempted the Team of the Year Challenge yet.
