The only thing I really liked about 2K14 was the simpleness of the control scheme. You don't have to press a button just to switch from isomotion and shots. Only for flashy passing which I rarely use. Wished that 2K13 has 2K14 control scheme

2K13 has a very similar control scheme to 2K14, with the exception of the right stick being able to shoot/help with finishing.

Personally, I don't mind. But I will admit, I use the right stick to finish a lot in 2K14 and 2K17. I like choosing which side of the basket my player will dunk on, or the ability to do a reverse layup by pushing it towards the baseline.

I made the switch to 2K13 and I'm finding it a bit hard to use the right stick Any tips on adjusting?

Not sure what you are having trouble with, but a couple probing questions are necessary.

1. What camera view are you using?
2. Is this right stick setting on Absolute or Camera Relative?

The dribbling is the same as 2K14 for the most part, with the exception of more pronounced crossovers (Which I think looks better). When I play both games, the dribbling is basically interchangeable. Again, the only big difference is the fact that in 2K13 you can't shoot with the right stick.

I'm using the 2K View Camera with the right stick set on absolute. On 2K14, I heavily use the right stick to shoot. I was used to doing dribble moves and then finish on the rim but in 2K13, It's kinda hard to do that

Anyone want to help with jukebox? I have no idea how and i rly want to change something.

Arena sounds (eventmusic) or game music (like the song list)?.

I made a jukebox for this game for the UBR, really easy to edit.

how can i edit eventmusic for 2k14?

when i replace one music in it and it was crashed

I never got around to making a tutorial, unfortunately. However, you should be able to do it the same way as the Jukebox music, you use the same tool to do it. Basically, you need to open the eventmusic.bin file with the tool, find the songs you want to overwrite, and overwrite them with songs that are the same or less length. So, you would have to use a program like Audacity to cut down songs to the right length.

For example, if one of the songs you want to overwrite is 1:00 minute long, you will need to cut your song down to 1:00 minute or less, when that's done you can overwrite. This is the same for if you want to replace the halftime/end of game music. Those files are also located within eventmusic.bin.

Format wise, I just used regular mp3 files. I used "youtube to mp3" online, and cut the songs down in Audacity.

2k14s does work correctly, I've released several eventmusics on this forum. It is actually really easy, and I shouldn't have to send you a MP3 file. Just go onto google, type in youtube to MP3 converter, open up a page that allows you to convert youtube videos to mp3s. Second, go onto youtube and find your song, copy the URL, and paste it into the converter. Download the MP3 and save it to a folder.

Next open up the 2K audio editor and open eventmusic.bin. locate the arena music that you want to overwrite, and look at the length of the song. Now, go into audacity and open your song, cut it down to the length of the song that you want to overwrite, and export the song. Now, open your new song in the audio editor, and overwrite the other one.

Make sure you make a backup of eventmusic.bin before you start this process. And, Audacity is free to download online, and it takes like a minute to do so.

So it has nothing to do with the dribbling, just the shooting. That's just something you will have to adjust too. I didn't find it to be that big of a problem, it just takes moving your thumb to the shoot button when you want to shoot.....

I put up a video on here of 2K13 highlights (you can also check out my youtube channel for that video). You really are not limited much by no shooting with the stick, in the video I am doing lots of drives into moves/shots. It just takes the adjustment of moving your thumb to the shoot button when you want to shoot or dunk, or whatever.

i can do what u said for jukeboxmusic.bin except eventmusic.bin.
i dont know why it happens in 2k14's eventmusic

I'd say the following four are the most authentic/realistic:

1. NBA 2K13
2. NBA 2K11
3. NBA 2K17
4. NBA 2K12
5. NBA 2K14 (Last gen and this gen)

... I´m going to get 2k13 another time

The best part of this, its that cfs are the same thing for 2k13 and 2k14. The big change was 2k12 to 2k13. And 2k14 and the following games. For me, the most easy way like modder for edit it was 2k13-14. In 2k12 i was a dummy. Well... now, i´m a dummy too XD

One question guys... in 2k13... its possible put a number of foults for eliminate or it was blocked? I dont remember this. I put 2k13 again and this options isnt. Its correct this?

regarding your question, since 2k14 had euroleague, it also had an option to choose number of fouls. while 2k13 doesn't include euroleague, there is no option to change number of fouls.

I had to re-prioritize. I'm starting a new business in a few weeks and editing didn't make the cut of the most important things I can do with my time.

I formed a "big 3" of most important things in my life. God, family, business, in that order. Unfortunately, editing didn't make the cut.

Thanks for the kind words, guys! I appreciate them. When I get done with the user's guide to filling out the spreadsheet, anyone who uses it will learn that you can probably complete a roster in a week or two, tops. I got to where I could completely edit a roster in a day or two. This spreadsheet and guide will make it absolutely possible for anyone to continue this project so that no one would even know I was gone.
