I saw the Dynasty video at ign:

http://media.xbox.ign.com/media/681/681533/vids_1.html?ui=gamefinder

It seems that the free agents want too much money. McInnis asking 20M. I hope thats for a certain amount of years and divided between those years and not 20M a season.

Lebron is an 83 and Jrich is a 78!

I like the fact that you cant rip teams off too. The thing about signing free agents is alot better as well

I got so excited just be reading that! I want this game so bad, if this is the franchise it turns out to be I will be the happiest man alive. I also noticed how teams won't trade their starts or leaders. And with real money it will make it so dam exciting! I want to get this so bad.

Niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice article, I just got worried reading this:

As I sim the playoffs I have to laugh as the Milwaukee Bucks come out of the East to play in the Finals. They were the 8 seed and went on a run, only to be swept by the Spurs in the championship series.

:?

EDIT: 3 big videos of Warriors' players competing in the ASW (Y)

Anyone else notice how it seems like his players were invited to the all-star weekend activities just because he is the user. Honestly, he had J-Rich and Pietrus got invited to the dunk contest? Also happened for the 3 point contest. I guess it's cool so we get to play the activities, but I don't want a free invite just because I'm the user.

I read that you have to earn it. Maybe he dunked a whole lot with Pietrus (who in reality doesnt really play that much) but maybe he used him a lot and dunked. Cliff Robinson probably won't be in the 3pt contest next year, he's not one of the best 3pt guys and is at the end of his career. But this guy used him to make a lot of threes I guess.

Yeah I was worried about the same thing.

Whatsup with the created player portrait? Is he in a witness protection program? I guess the dark shading might make him look more lifelike, but it also takes away alot of the detail that makes the player distinguishable. I hope this is something that only happens when you're scouting a player to give the illusion that you know nothing about them... maybe as you send more scouts the'll give a little more light to the point that they start looking like overexposed ESPN graphics.

Also I noticed nothing was really added to Dynasty mode, except for the ability to scout rookies, everything else was just improved. Everything now just takes a few days to do and this may actually prove to be frustrating. Can you imagine trying to pull off a small 1 for 1 swap for a couple of bench players and this taking 2 weeks of negotiations? I guess at least the teams tell you if their interested within a day or two so you know wheter you are wasting your time or not right away.

It looks like they copied MVP Baseball's dynasty mode a bit. Not to say that this is a bad thing, just that I am always waiting for that big dynasty feature, sometimes just waiting for a big feature to come back like the ability to create teams.

Can you tell I am a dynasty junkie? Oh well I'm sure I'll be more than happy with the ALL STAR WEEKEND

He should have tried to go for a "multiple trash for a good player" trick. That might still work. We don't know if it will. I like the whole scouting thing. That will probably be one of the best features. As for dynasty points...well he didn't use it much..Will it have minimal effect like it did last time? Or will we use it more frequently?
Bored.

Yea the ratings are looking nice, Lebron at 83 and J-Rich at 78 are pretty accurate. I just hope the rookies ratings are good, most should be in the 60's, but Emeka and Dwight will probalby be like 70-72.

As for dynasty points...well he didn't use it much..Will it have minimal effect like it did last time? Or will we use it more frequently?

Well you need it to scout players so you better be using it

Well you know in the NBA their's not really such a thing as a "one hour deal", teams will normally look at situation and analyze it before it actually happens. All those deals we hear about have already been talked about for a week or so, even the small ones could be a few days.

Pietrus didn't play because he was injured, when he came back from injury he was getting playing time and doing nice, Pietrus is an athletic freak, one of my favourite players actually. I won't be doing a dynasty with the Warroirs, but whatever team I am I'll try and trade for Pietrus.

I agree, I would've liked to know how that turned out.

Also, go Redd lol, Milwaukee going to the finals is beast.

McInnis' contract was for 5 years

I was watching the warrior videos for the slam dunk contest. they had jefferson, pietris, martin, ginobli, and most of them did the same damn pass and also a lot of 50's were given. i do like the announcers vocabulary in it though. i still have to watch part 2 and the 3 point shootout. I also read the warrior thing and i absolutely cant wait. :)

It's sounding really good, but the injuries and "automatic user (?)" invites to the All-Star weekend worries me a little bit, but we'll see how it goes. So far, it's gonna be awesome!

Edit: I was looking at screenshots, and there was this draft where the projected 1st overall player among a strong projected draft depth has "limited potential." That doesn't sound too good if the player is in the 70's or 80's because that player won't make it to the high 90's if his potential is limited. Let's not hope that the projected first overall pick among a strong projected draft depth will always have limited potential because that implies we'll never have a player hitting the 90's in any future drafts.
