I just redownloaded 2k16 lol. I think its still the most fundamentally balanced 2k so far.

I went 2k16 because the interior d and fast break logic in 17 is absolutely horrendous. I dunno how u deal with that.

Its not as bad on the original exe or the december one. Especially going human vs human, but I can still find a challenge against the CPU. 2K18? it's no challenge at all, running in a straight line to the hoop is no challenge...

When I stop the video, I am 10-13 from the floor, up by 4, and on pace for 160 points. It is exactly the same success with your sliders. The defense is complete garbage and broken. Look at the help defense (lack of), I am even going to post the screenshots of the sliders so the people on here can stop saying the defense is good, or better, or just overall a better experience than 2k17. You guys have to be kidding me.... this is the easiest stuff in the world. I could crush the Warriors with the Knicks by driving in a straight line all game.
There are no breaks in this video, this is straight recording, so I cant be accused of doctoring it. Its straight video capture and upload. You guys want to see why I havn't fully moved on? Watch the video and check out those sliders. Look how the defense does 0 to adjust, look how I can run passed anyone with anyone, look how uncontested I am all the time. Nextnba.. a break? EVERY TIME I play the game? Every slider set? You guys cannot possibly struggle to score in this game, I am literally doing nothing and roasting the Warriors with the Knicks with straight line drives.
Please stop with the standing up for this, it's horrible. Sko knows how much time I put into these games, its insane. I've been doing this since the early 90's, give me a little more credit next time.

Hey Dee did you try my sliders? Never really tried attacking the CPU in this manner, but I'd be interested to see what your results were. Not that I'm expecting anything great I mean I think 2K assumes that if you want realistic results you'd play the game in a realistic way...I mean I think in real life if LeBron James drove to the rim on every single play he'd probably score or get fouled MOST of the time so I don't really agree with the gripe. And I definitely don't want every person in the NBA playing defense like Gary Payton the way they did in 2K17. It's as far from fun or realistic as it gets.

What really pisses me off about this whole defense thing is that CPU doesn't even try to adjust. For example, CPU plays very tight perimeter defense against Rajon Rondo/Tony Allen (controlled by me), all game long. Really? I keep blowing by defenders effortlessly, scoring in the paint/drawing fouls, but my match-up keeps smothering me. It doesn't make any sense. No NBA defense plays Rondo or Tony Allen like that. At least if they sagged off a little bit against those poor shooters, one would be tempted to occasionally try a 3 or a mid-range jumper sometimes. But not even that happens. It's really disappointing, because I like the rest of the game.

This is simply not true, maybe their ratings just aren't as low as you think, because when I play with Ben Simmons (55 Mid) (56 Mid) They do sag off pretty hard. I know Rondo has a 69 in both 3 pt rating and mid-range.

And when they sag off, you can also just run by them anyway. I run by them all the time while they are sagging off.
I could post videos all day.

Is that not what Ben Simmons does though?...Now I personally can say with my slider set if you drive towards help your shot is getting sent into the 3rd row, but I can't say much towards the default in that case.

Did you see the sliders I just posted that were in that video?
Am I going to need to post video proof with every single slider set showing that I can just run into the paint?
Those are not default sliders that I used, I've gone EXTREME with the sliders. Even worse than what I used in that video, and I can do the exact same thing.
The games defense is absolutely horrible, and sliders do nothing to fix the problems I keep showing.

The Knicks warriors one.
That video is with Sticky Fingers sliders.
I have gone more extreme than he did. And I get by my guy every single time, and score at a 70 to 80% clip.
The first video is on default HOF.
