NBA 2K18 Steam Key Sales

Bought it on CDKeys like last Year. I paid 21.84GBP which is around 28USD. If I remember correctly I got it last Year ready for the Early Access and all the PreOrder Crap was there. But since then they increased the price to 28GBP/36USD, like with every Game.
I'll check the Forums to see which Site sends out Keys first and then maybe Cancel and Order elsewhere. Since I have 600kb/s Download the 50GB always take 1-2 Days, so I hope they send out Keys early and give us a Preload. But overall I am not hyped at all, so I dont care much and have not actually read up much info about it except the MyLeague/Association Blog.

But I read some Americans had problems since it was a EU-Locked Key. But you can always use a VPN to activate it.

Last year I bought the PC version directly from 2K. Their system was a bit messy and I know a couple of other people who bought from them directly had issues with the key, but mine activated without any problems and I was able to pre-load. Hoping there's no issues with GamersGate; it's been a while since I've bought anything from them, and I can't remember if I've ever pre-ordered from them before, but they were good in the past and I couldn't pass up the discount.

Germany. Its the fastest I can get here, at least until like a few weeks ago. I think they finally upgraded something, I*ll need to check if I maybe finally can get some better speed. You are really fucked in Germany if you dont live in a big city.

I think keys go out around the time that steam allows you to predownload the game but should be out no later than the 15th.

I would not risk it. Keysellers like CDKeys is one thing but random Chinese Website? I'd rather not.

As a US player, it was a nightmare getting a code from anywhere other than Steam at launch. I used a couple of key sites only to find out they were region locked (they were all originally advertised at region-free). It was a mess getting my money back. If I learned anything, I'd highly recommend US players to bite the bullet and purchase it directly on Steam.

Edit: I also recommend GMG, of course. I believe they're running a sale as mentioned.
