16 More Classic Teams to be added in NBA 2K18

i'm gonna make a bold prediction and say that both the 93 suns and reggie's pacers are in this year. i say that because webber's back, all-time teams are in, and the name of the game this year seems to be quality and polish. let's hope for the best.

No euroleague teams this year????

Off-topic, but in any event, no reason to assume that. They've announced they're adding more classic teams and all-time squads, not removing the Euroleague teams.

I'm sure they will still have them. While they are mostly generic players, there is still a decent market that likes to use those teams.

there is always next year i guess, time to start a 2k19 classic teams list...

keep in mind with these 16, this will put us at 61 classic teams, hopefully more coming next year.

How the bleep are the 2013 Pacers a classic team?? Just because you have a good season doesn't mean your are suddenly a "classic" team with classic players on them. Plus, it's just too recent.

A bit underwhelming, more so the '14 Pacers.

ya, i'm with you. 2k is squeezing every team that they can out of players that they already have licensed.

Perhaps we got our hopes up a little with the whole "sixteen new classic teams" announcement, not thinking of the possibility that the number was padded with more recent teams that could be made up with players who were licensed for more appropriate squads. That being said, there are some older teams in there, and some good choices among the stranger ones.

What about '16 Warriors? They broke the regular season record after all (though 72-10 has a better ring to it).

13-14 Pacers? That isn't even a "classic team" in my opinion.

I love it.

I plan on filling all the default classic teams (putting accurate players on all the teams, removing fakes). Additonally, I'll be overwriting the Euro teams to put other classic teams in, and maybe a fee USA teams (I think that's like 22 more teams). This will enable us to keep the current teams intact, and have a true Ultimate Base.

Also, I will be releasing my fantasy draft roster again, and 1 or 2 single season mods. I am thinking 96-97 and/or 07-08.

I'll be modding right out of the gate.

Starting to get the feeling that we won't get the 08-09 or 09-10 Lakers... which would be a huge bummer....

Oh yeah, I forgot about that hint from LD2K. We'll see if people misunderstood him or not. A 2010 Lakers team would be realistic considering all the recent NBA players. Plus there's a Reggie face in the game files not being used for some reason, not even in MyTeam. We'll see I guess...

The uniform of the 2012 Knicks have been gone since 2k13, so at least I can be happy about that. For me, It's the best Knick uniform by a large margin. Plus, this team will be pretty good to play with (Linsanity, JR Smith, Melo, Amar'e and Chandler)

2011 Bulls is a pretty solid addition. I would be happy about the reveal if not for the inevitable snubs. I will not be surprised if they reveal tomorrow teams like 1993 Nets and 2007 Warriors, which would leave highly requested teams like 1993 Suns, 2000 Pacers, 2007 Spurs, 2009 Magic and 2010 Lakers in the dust. Not to mention 1967 and 1983 76ers
