Frostbite Engine Concern

Hi all,
I'm actually really concerned right now. I Just read a post from the moddingway admin stating that because Fifa 17 is using the Frostbite engine, the game is to complex to mod... as in... they can't seem to mod the game at all. If this is the case, and the engine makes it impossible or near impossible to mod, I'd prefer they stick with the engine they have right now.
Has anyone heard any news about this? Is it possible that 2K18 will use the Frostbite engine?

No, the Frostbite engine is developed by EA DICE and is only used on EA games.
