NBA 2k9 Bugs and Glitches Thread

The custom players in your association have withdrawn the license for the use of their name, that's why it appears like that.
Association mode is that realistic.

Eh? I don't have custom players I think...I'm only one season in, so only one-two rookies a team.

He was making a joke. Have you edited the association file at all with one of the released editors? If so, that could have caused it.

Oh, woops. Nope, I have never touched editors except moving some sliders to the save folder. My older association's records are fine...I don't get what I did differently between the two.

my game can run 2k9 pretty good, but the team select screen runs @ about 2-4fps, but when i press start and the laoding screen comes up, everything runs smmoothly, everytime, every other menu option runs @ normal speed

Hi, I have a problem with my association team records. Instead of player names, they come up as random boxes and other weird symbols. Can anyone tell me whats up with that? And when I can modify the team records (if possible)? Thanks. Pic attached

i have that same problem...kinda sucks but i guess noone knows anything about it since i haven't found solution on google yet and i've searched everywhere..

yea well after i reset it, it does work fine for a while then after 2 or 3 games it's same crap again..

My game is running perfectly with my new graphics card, but i still don't have commentary. I have every other sound effect throughout the game, but no commentary. I thought it might be to having the game on low settings on my old graphics card.

I'm not sure what to do, as i am clearly getting sound and it sounds good. I have checked my game settings and i notice that the default settings have coms set at 0, but if i adjust that, it goes to custom, with coms so i assume it's ok. Maybe the problem is that the game is using one of those defaults with coms at 0, but i can't seem to figure it out.

Do you think it's a sound card issue or just something settings wise that's probably disabled?

Play a game. While in-game, pause it and check the presentation settings. If it's set to zero, increase it. Then go back to the game. If it's now working perfectly, it's just the settings loading up in the start of the game that was causing the trouble.

Thanks mate. It was my speaker setting, i had to set it to quadraphonic. Now i get coms.

Im having a problem with my NBA2K9 that i cant save anything, controls, profile, nothing, i know that i need to make a folder in appdata but what folder

The folder should be created automatically when you install the game.

Strange bug with NBA 2K9 : CPU and me missed most of the shots with airball even on FT line
I fix it : it was related to Monitor Refresh Rates at 144Hz.
I set it to 60, then it's ok now.
