D43 - Ultimate Classic Team Roster - VERSION 3 RELEASED!

hi all

Most of you do not have this problem, but Im one of those that play 2k17 in a low end pc. That means, the courts of some of the uctr teams did not work. For me, besides playing around with some of the suggestions Dee posted above, what helped me was to lock the frame rate (in my case I changed from 55 to 50) while I kept maintaining bloom, occlusion, etc... So if any of you have issues with frame drops, consider to lock them, that helped me and now I can enjoy the mod as I was enjoying the game previously (to be honest I cannot see the difference between 55 and 50 but now the pc is not frying...)

I gave some tips to him on how to get your textures on high while maintaining a good frame rate on low end pc's. The crowd is a huge FPS killer, so if you put the crowd on Medium, Shaders on Medium, AA at 2 or 4 with AA Quality at 0, and Bloom and Ambient Occlusion OFF, you should be able to have your textures on high, while maintaining a solid FPS, so you can enjoy this roster.

I have 3 computers in my home, one can run the game at Medium/High, and the two others can run it on high.

Yes this roster overwrites current teams, this roster is completely focused on Classic Teams, nothing else. Besides we can't add completely new teams and we can't overwrite Euro teams because they don't work in MyLeague properly.

Exactly. This is purely a classic teams roster anyway.

We did the best we could without a proper roster editor, and I think it came out great, and would still consider it "Insane" based on the retro accuracy of the roster, and the overall new content it offers.

Feedback: well, I just tried all the new teams and all look great. I will start a myleague this week surely. I will pick one team from each conference. I still do not know whether I will use the example you showed or I will go for my favourite teams (and of course having some repeated players).
One little question, in play now some courts have the playoff logo (for instance, chicago 85). This is because we are in playoffs now and 2k just put the logo in every court right?

Also, some faces you took from european players right? I saw a spanish guy (San Emeterio) in the knicks I think. I will let you know exactly who is he. Not a big deal at all for me, I am talking about very secondary players...it was just curiosity!

Ugh, 2k did that for Play Now? Yeah, that's not actually on the courts, its just while the playoffs are happening I guess.

And yes, I took some lookalikes from the euro teams. The faces are combination of made, lookalikes, and combos.

I have been able to play a bit more. My league is great. I started controlling two teams but I will restart and start with just want team, I guess the Nuggets 06.

I notice, if I am not wrong, that the only teams out of the thirty that does not have a classic is New Orleans, no surprise, and the Wizards. It would be nice in the future to have a Wizzards/Bullets squad too.

The playability is great with the slides you shared in the forum. Maybe you could consider upload these settings, it really made the game better in my opinion!

I have a couple people who had stated they really liked the slider tweaks. Ill upload them this week, they are good for all three of my rosters.

Congratulations on completing this legendary roster, you are the hero of all 2k players.

One huge defect of the original 2k17 is that many players have super tiny hands and legs, some notable tiny hands players like:
Giannis Antetokounmpo
Rudy Gobert
Penny Hardaway
...

may I ask that did u fix these body in your roster? or u will roster in next version?

No, but PeacemanNOT has a new Penny is in this roster.

I didn't even realize that tiny hands/legs were an issue for those players, I just thought it was the skinny body type in general as an issue.

I went to the "Create Roster" option and tried to find "UCTRD43"; however, I only saw "UATRD43" and "UADRD43"

Start with all user/cpu sliders on 50, but tweak the following:

Def Reb: 65
Off Reb: 40
Fatigue Rate: 40
Mid Shot Success: 40
3PT Success:39
Ball Security: 65
Jump Shot Defense (Gather): 35
Jump Shot Defense (Release): 35
All fouls at: 25 (With the exception of CPU Reach in at 10, and User Reach In at 40)

A couple of my videos are using those sliders, the game moves really well. Optional: Game Speed at 55
