I don't mind if you use mine. I can explain how I came up with the ratings, tendencies, and sig skills if needed.

Ill take a look Slimm thanks...
Im still on track for an initial release for November 1st with updates following, anyone whos familiar with my stadium work on UBR/URB mod will understand how time consuming it is because of the level I go to with them...so even if I say so myself - this will easily be the best retro mod ever made

and worth the wait.

How do I download this for my PS4 NBA 2k16? Do you have any more seasons, jerseys, rosters? I'd like to relive the 1998-99 NBA season as well as the 89-90 season that you are releasing soon. I'd love to relive that entire era.

Bird, are you all set with ratings? Slimm44's are the MOST accurate but i will look at whatever you have and fix them through sim testing if you want.

Im unsure man, I did a simulated season with the URB ratings and was a little dissapointed with some of it..i.e league MVP Magic averaging 15 points and my man Larry averaging 12points!....I know he wasnt his vintage self by 90 but he still averaged 24 points...Id rather you just handled the ratings PERIOD man if you could do that it would be a big help?
Right now every arena is at least 90% done for an initial release...so I'll be tightening those up over the next week as well as going through CF's n making sure all is right with those and team gear, etc...
So yeah really I could use someones help on ratings

A few things I've noticed about the stats from the tendancies/ratings:
If you want a certain player to get stats close to his real life self, you have to make sure they are playing atleast 38-42 mins per game, this means making sure that a player or multiple players on the bench who play the same position are NOT getting a decent amount of minutes. For example, If Bird is at SF, and you have Reggie Lewis coming off the bench at SF, and Birds minutes are set to 38, but Lewis is also set for 25... it will impact Birds numbers quite a bit, and if another SF on that bench is also allocated minutes, it will hurt Birds production as well. If you want Bird to be solid at assists (like he was), giving him the appropriate touches/dish to open man will get him to where you need him to be if the minutes issue is fixed. This goes for things like PPG etc, if Bird is at a 90 Shot Tendency, but Parish/McHale AND Lewis are all at a 80-85, Birds average will suffer a lot. I've also noticed that if a lot of the players who are on the floor at the same time as Bird have high dish to open man, it will impact Birds assists (Birds assists should be really solid).
I've done A TON of correcting of this stuff on the UBR, but also in NBA 2K16 and 2K17 (2k really screwed it up with these two, you have players getting like 10 assists in a full season, sometimes starters...). It's all about balancing the minutes per position and making sure the tendencies are accurate to the player who should excel in a category. When we loaded up default 2k roster in NBA 2k17, and simulated a season, David Robinson averaged like 0.3 SPG and 14 ppg. After seeing that they low balled his on ball steal/pass perception, made his shot tendency low, AND made his minutes to low and the bench bigs minutes to high, I made the necessary adjustments and got him averaging 1.3 SPG and 22 ppg.
Not sure if this helps or not... but figured I would pass it on.

I'll post some pics later, but the only thing you need to do to get accurate results with my edits are set accurate minutes.
That's it.

No man, im dissapointed that you dont understand basic things about how game calculate stats.
This is the result of simulating URB 1989/90. Did you ever checked Bird minutes? Slimm job on 2k13/2k14 ratings/tendencies is GIGANTIC, he implemented almost all REAL stats into 2k rating system. Its really hard to read your post and leave it without reaction. So here it is. URB 89/90 full season simulation.

I understand "basic things" as much as I understand condescension, so wind your neck in. All I did was assume minutes were allocated within the roster file and did a quick sim.
Anyway, yeah looks good slimm I'll probably use them then, thanks

The only game mode that keeps minutes the same as in the roster file is playoff mode. Season and association go into 2k logic which is just dumb.
Feel free to use my edits. I'm finishing up the very last edit to my spreadsheet and then I get to paste the FINAL edits into my "all seasons" spreadsheet, then paste into roster files. If you can wait until then, it would be ideal because there would be no duplicate work needed.

Well, yes. It's all relative. And most importantly, If you have a starting SF at 38 minutes, the backup SF needs to be set to 10 minutes. That's a rotation. Like everyone already said, I think Bird33 was just having some kind of issue with minutes assigned, or the game resetting rotations, etc, because every sim I've ever done with URB is amazingly accurate. I was going to post my own screenshots, but Sko already did.
I'm glad we all had this talk.
