How does Red Mc handle retired players?

Do they stay in the database or do they dissapear completely?

It depends on what you wanted to do, once the retired player is in free agent pool...
1. you can make the player disappear in fa pool, change the IsFA value to 0.
2. you can use the slot of the retired player for another player, just replace the details like name, bio, appearance, etc..but do not delete the row if u have that license cause it might cause some ctd.

In association if a player is free agent for 2 years or more they start being overwritten automatically
