Why 2K16 have bad reviews ?

I Don't understand why 2k16 have too many bad reviews on Steam . Only %45 of them positive . If I compare it with other version this score is too low . Is this game bug infested ? Besides improvments is 2k15 is better? Because reviews are much better .

It's not so much the bugs but more so how many hackers are in the game. The online part of this game is full of hackers.

Generally speaking however, there were some optimisation/performance issues with NBA 2K16 PC upon launch, which contributed to a lot of negative reviews early on. I don't think the score on Steam has ever rebounded from that, though a lot of people have reported better performance as the year has gone on, following the release of a couple of patches and hotfixes.

The story-driven approach to MyCAREER in NBA 2K14 onwards is something that gamers have mixed thoughts on to begin with, but this year's story by Spike Lee is even more problematic. It sticks you with a character and backstory that doesn't necessarily match the player you've created (which tends to be your own avatar), and the story itself is a bit corny and cliche in places. I do think the negative reviews on Steam are more about the technical problems, though.

Ah yes, that was an issue at launch too.

It's supposed to have keyboard support with the new patch, HOWEVER, will it be a torture playing with keyboard as you would have no solid control over the players to get to the rim like old 2K series?

After reading a lots of reviews people generally complaining about hackers but I don't think it's a problem of 2K16 . Already a lots of player ruining other games with Cheat Engine . And using it with 2K16 too .
Another bunch of people complaining about MyCareer mode , some of others complaining about optimization and controls . Nearly all of them already refunded game and game got a lot of patches . Some of the problems already fixed . So at the end I am generally playing Quick Game mode only . Technically it's a superb game now . But if I touch other modes it's still good for me but some of the other people seems don't like it

It's the best one yet to me, 2K14 was kind of a watershed year as well. I never play online, because of the cheaters, so that doesn't apply to me. But the realism and gameplay is replicated well. 2K16 is the best sports sim on the planet If they could fix some minor bugs as off rebounding bug is still present, staying in front of penetrating guards, and being able to take more charges, getting around screens to defend jump shots. (they always make them, always) and being able to slide help side defense over to stop drives to the hoop. Maybe some of these can be corrected with sliders, but I'm thinking if you correct one problem, it's going to cause another. These probably have to be corrected when the game is coded. Hope 2K developers listen to us and expand on a great game....

Also later I checked it on other platform sites like PS4 , and reviews are really nice . But it's still %48 on Steam . So there are too many trolls on Steam .

For example, I don't think much of the story in MyCAREER at all, and that is a knock on NBA 2K16, but I wouldn't say that it makes the whole game terrible. Of course, if someone is only interested in MyCAREER, then it probably would be a deal breaker, and inspire them to leave a negative review.

I can call it as trolling or salty . Because in last days it happens a lot . A lots of good game getting terrible scores . Especially if game is 30 FPS , they are instantly dropping a negative review even without playing it . This Steam reviews was nice in old days when it's launched . And now it's nearly meaningless for me . If I am checking a game , most of the times completely I am ignoring that fact .

Perhaps there's some trolling going on, but reading some of the reviews, it could just as easily be knee-jerk reactions, overreactions, and opinions that are honest but not grounded by sound logic.

My love player is Nowitzki, but I cant create him because the maximum value of 3 is 75.
