3 guards stand out from 2015 draft class.
- D'Angelo Russell has been pretty good lately.
- Devin Booker is the youngest and has been playing great.
- Despite inconsistency, Emmanuel Mudiay has been showing off his talent this year.
Remember Lillars vs Irving vs Wall discussion? Consider this a similar thread.
If we knew what we know now in the time of 2015 draft, whom would you have drafted first out of these 3 guards? And which guard do you think will turn out to be the best?

I'd draft it in that order BUT I would still root for Mudiay.

Booker's not really the same type of player at all though.

D'Angelo Russell for sure.
What set him back in the start of the season was lack of minutes, pressure, Kobe shooting half of the team's shots. Now that he's found his original form he'll become a great player.
But will he be able to do that under Byron Scott?

Only one of those 3 has ice in his veins.

It's been interesting to watch opinion go back and forth on D'Angelo Russell throughout the year. Early on, he definitely wasn't looking like a smart pick, but it was way too early to write him off completely. There's still a long way to go, but few players have particularly efficient and statistically outstanding rookie seasons, especially point guards. He's definitely shown some flashes.
Whether or not he should've been the second overall pick is another matter entirely, though to be fair it's too early to call that definitively as well. I'd probably take him over those other two, but a lot of promise all around.

Looks like Russell it is, for the winner of this discussion.
I will be the odd man and go with Booker. I think he has real nice potential to be something special. He's not like other two as benji noted but he still has some level of playmaking ability. SGs like that are nice to have, especially when they come with great 3pt efficiency.
