Is there a FTM cat in yahoo fantasy like you have in ESPN fantasy ? It sounds different, yet interesting
Tue Dec 15, 2015 6:02 pm
Didn't we have FTM before?
FTM is what Nick suggested before and it seems ok. After all, Fantasy League is really about putting numbers in mass unless we go for efficiency oriented league kinda like with 3pt%. So here's how I see it...
Previously we had OReb (Offensive Rebound) in place of 3pt%.
- Bigs were important with OReb
- Efficient 3pt shooters' value sky rocketed making the league go with small ball trend
- In result, inefficient players like Mudiay, Elfrid, MCW became un-own-able while Batum/Curry got richer. Rich got richer.
Changing 3pt% to FTM would make this league:
- Helps scorers even more as we already have FGM and points.
- Helps efficient FT throwers like Drummond, DeAndre
Is this change healthy and fun? I think so. 3pt% is kinda dick category imho. What you guys think?

As long as we keep the FT% along with the FTM, I am cool with it

Close call against Novu
+1 3PM
+3 PTS
+1 AST
-2 BLK

Sheesh, matched up against three top4 teams in a row. I'm holding my own, but it doesn't help me climb the rankings any! Klay's, Hayward's, and Middleton's slow starts + Lauvergne's injury hurt me bad early on. Still optimistic.

My team's a laughingstock this year.
Think I made couple devastating trades that I could never recover from. It's funny because this is NOT how I am used to play. I got away from winning tactic, buying underrated players at discounted price but I did the opposite and paid handsomely for overrated/expensive fantasy players.

If anyone wants to call me bad names for switching 4 FA's in 24 hours go ahead, I totally deserve it. Anyway, I will chill my titties for the moment. I will stick with my last FA.
Thu Dec 31, 2015 5:16 pm
Wow, 3 IL players coming back at near same time, need to clear 1 more roster spot.
Send me offer my way. Myles Turner and Devin Booker are available for 2 for 1 deal.

I think I lived too long. Because never have I expected to live through days where I would consider Los Toros and Average Joes a team to beat. Perhaps I am the Kobe in this league, can't beat father time.

Never understimate someone's bad luck. It's all about the injuries. Everybody has a chance

That was just my sneaky smack talk.

Btw, anyone interested in Booker, Stanley, or Warren? I am looking for a serviceable center.
Fri Jan 08, 2016 10:14 pm
NovU's tanking now? That was a lopsided trade for me
Sat Jan 09, 2016 12:32 am
Well, how about I make you change your sig to BEAT NOVU by the season end.
BTW what trade was it again? I been trying to free up the roster spot in order to accommodate players returning from injuries. Might have been a gift for you.

Was referring to your trade with Q, Jennings and Henson for Oubre and Jones.
Sat Jan 09, 2016 2:36 pm
Wow. I didn't think the trade was that lopsided in favor of Q. By no means, I thought I was getting robbed like in previous Lopez and Harris deals with him. LoL, it's 3rd time, hopely it'll work out on my end this time around.
Sun Jan 10, 2016 2:45 am
He was sending me like 1-2 offers a day for Kelly Oubre and I wanted to get him to stop lol
I needed a C and was interested in Jennings, so it was a good trade for me
I wouldn't say that the previous trades were lopsided at the time. Lopez/Johnson trade was actually a gamble on both sides in a buy low situation. Neither player was playing well at the time.
Sun Jan 10, 2016 6:16 pm
Hahaha, who'd have thought Q would be my favorite trade partner this year. I didn't think Terrence Jones trade was that bad on my part. I don't need BLK specialist in John Henson anymore unless he's traded or Monroe gets injured. Jennings could come up big near or after ASG but that's just potential for now. Terrence Jones is what I need for the moment and has decent upside.
But I wish you didn't make a Gary Harris trade. Gary has minutes and role cleared all the way to the season end while Gerald Green has shit load of competition ahead.
Mon Jan 11, 2016 1:50 am
Green has the higher ceiling while being more inconsistent. Harris was decent but his numbers don't really jump out at you
Tue Jan 12, 2016 2:02 am
Wow. I didn't expected to be leading my division just 3 weeks ago. But looks like schedule is to get quite tough. I am to face top 3 teams and couple more good teams to end the season.
Wed Jan 13, 2016 8:32 pm
Any thoughts on my latest blockbuster trade?
Got myself Love for Terrence Jones, Nurkic, Parson.
BTW I no longer have player I drafted. Parsons and Nurkic were last of em. LoL
Wed Jan 13, 2016 9:02 pm
You just got yourself back in the game. Your team is deep as fuck now

Dumping T-Jones is like getting rid of a clingy ex. Good riddance. Next thing you know he'll miss a game from a bruised pinky, or lose his minutes to Mickey Mouse.
That said, Nurkic could come on strong later in the season. A bit of a gamble but the potential is there. Same with Parsons, who has been playing better lately & is contributing strong in assists. Love isn't getting the USG% to compensate for his lack of defensive stats, so I'm not sold on him.
Sun Jan 17, 2016 4:57 pm
Yet I made another trade with Q. I'm his favorite dumpster or rent-o-player place.
Axel wrote:Love isn't getting the USG% to compensate for his lack of defensive stats, so I'm not sold on him.
Yeah, that worries me a bit because healthy Parsons alone can come back to bite me in this trade. But it's not like Parsons neither Nurkic have given me anything much so far this year. I was improved either way and I also wanted to get rid of them because I drafted them, lol.

It is what it is. I'll have a good laugh if you by chance reacquire them later in the season.

I was thinking about which player to offer for Warren and was considering trading Henson to him a 2nd time
