Jason Smith has the same vertical leap as Terrence Ross at 38 inches and scored higher on the agility test than Blake Griffin. You tell me.

So you prove my point. Those lowest of all no name brand guys are superior to Dirk in terms of athleticism but somehow he's a legend and has peers like KG, Malone, Rodman.

so lets see, if kobe > jordan because he scored more points (thanks internet idiots) then that must mean dirk > shaq

No, Jason Smith is clearly not the lowest of all no name seven footers in terms of athleticism. He's a freak. An outlier.

Whatever suits your belief. Ironic Jason Smith doesn't move around like 6'6" like athletic Dirk does. Somebody's confused about footwork with athleticism.
Cuban: "It’s not like we were wowed with his athleticism or wowed with his speed."
http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1925 ... his-seasonWhat athleticism? What everyday you don't see from 7 footer athleticism? It has nothing or very little to do with what made Dirk's game legendary.

I guess we'll have to disagree on Smith then. Smith doesn't have Dirk's ballhandling but he plays way more like a small forward or guard than he does a standard 7 footer.
Nor does he have Dirk's smarts, thus the much lower rebounding numbers and not much better steals/blocks despite the athleticism advantage.
You don't have to be wowed with athleticism or speed for a player to have them, to be above-average or even good at them. You're wowed by high end athletic players (and low end) not "good."
You're talking about Dirk like he's Chris Welp at best.

We disagree alright. Smith is not a stellar athlete in NBA standard. He lacks strength and explosiveness.

I guess Blake Griffin lacks explosiveness too. Worse vertical, worse agility testing at the combine. He is the stronger upper body strength player though, I'll admit.
Only three 6-10+ players in DE's database have tested with higher vertical leaps than Smith to date, Steven Hunter, Perry Jones and yet to be drafted Ben Simmons.
Of course, Joe Alexander had arguably the greatest combine testing in league history, outside of maaaaybe, Joey Graham and look at him. Actually, both of them.

So he's a legendary athlete by your standard, better than Griffin, Dirk's athletically great. Check Check Check

Someday, you'll learn to read and write English. I have confidence in you.
