I told you, it was the same with 15. If you can't release the ball, that's going to be travelling or jumping violation.Uncle Drew wrote:Kevin wrote:That's been there since '15. Dunno what you're talking about.
That's what I just said, it didn't occur as often. READ !!

2K16 is alright, but I'd go back to 2K11 if I had updated rosters. The overall presentation, music, playcalling is better in the older game - plus I like Isomotion.
It is tougher getting to the rim in 2K16 which is cool. But there's too much sliding - and why does my center leave the post to guard outside shooters?

This is still a major problem, and I cant find a fix for it. Big guys going out to guard shooters and leaving the opposing teams big guy WIDE open under the basket. Most of the time he goes out there for no reason. It's really frustrating.
Also, the computer players on both teams get backdoored so easy. It happens every game.
I play on hall of fame, it should be better especially on the best AI level.

Go to defensive settings or whatever that section is called (where you can edit the pressure put on the opposing players when on/off ball, the hedge you use etc.) and scroll down to the "switch" option. By default, that option is set to "Switch all". You can set it to "Guards only", to have only your guards switch defenders, or you can turn off for good. Also, I suggest setting your double team sections from "manual" to "auto", it gives your players a way better defensive IQ.
Sorry if my terms from above are not exactly as you can find them in game, but you should easily find what I am talking about.
Backdoor cuts can't be fixed. Those are the easiest baskets I can ever get in 2k16. When the AI is giving one of my players a tight defense and all of his body is on my player, I use the backdoor cut button and that's pretty much it, I get an open lay-up or dunk.
Try using Greg's sliders though, they make a big difference
