What's with this guy and his anti George Karl propaganda? Did he ask for George's autograph and he declined?

Better yet, gimme the fucking coaching job to me at fraction of cost and I will suck up to Big Cuz like Kobe fans licking his nutsack if that's what you think is needed for SAC team.

I think George Karl is the right guy. He's just handed bunch of overrated no good do-ers. We have already countlessly discussed how Gay hurts his team, and Rondo now. Might have been a good team in video games a few years ago. In reality, the players aren't just good enough. George Karl, Phil Jackson, Greg Pops, doesn't matter whom you bring in, you don't win with this squad.
Alright, I do know that he was the last coach in Bucks history to get the team to the conference finals of the East back in the 00-01 season, where they lost to Philadelphia with Allen Iverson and Mutombo and Eric Snow chemistry, but Corliss Williamson had a history of coaching in college and would make a good big coach for the Kings like Kevin McHale with the Rockets. Calipari can build the Kings up and is able to get along with Cousins back in his first year in Kentucky and with Calipari coach of the Kings for the 16-17 season, the Kings will be a playoff team in the coming years. John Calipari or George Karl? Both would be the right coaches, but they can keep both Cousins and Karl and in 2016 let him retire and name John Calipari to replace Karl. That'll help chances a little bit because he did hold Kentucky to the 2012 championship with Davis and MKG.

Assuming, of course, that Calipari has interest in coaching in the NBA again, and would furthermore be interested in the Kings job.

Karl's reportedly done. Should be finalized by the end of the week. What a waste of time firing Malone in the first place. Owner has no idea what he's doing

Kings center DeMarcus Cousins aimed profanity-laced tirade at George Karl
http://www.sacbee.com/sports/nba/sacram ... 79427.html

DeMarcus is such a shitty human being and detrimental basketballer to his team. Only solution now is to relocate the franchise to somewhere in Canada after trading DeMarcus for box of laundry detergent.

League sources, who did not wish to be identified because they did not have authority to speak on the matter, said Karl wanted to suspend Cousins for two games. General manager Vlade Divac, however, said the coach did not have the authority to do so and would not grant permission, according to the sources.

Pretty much the beginning of the end right there. However, that's a power play that could come back to haunt Divac. It sends a rather troubling message to any potential replacements that they'll be undermined by Divac, and that he'll be constantly looking over their shoulder.

It will be finalized, by the offseason. Karl will retire and Calipari will take his reins.

Vlade Divac is a massive hairy dick.

Since when a coach didn't have the authority to discipline his players?

Re: George Karl pushing for Cousins trade

Since Sacremento...

I think they have to be the worst managed team in the league.

The owner and Divac...

A player should not have that much pulling power when he hasn't done jack in the league.

Karl's just not a Divac's guy. Karl got the job before Divac became a GM. Divac probably wants to shift blame to his direction too for this mess.

DeMarcus Cousins apologizes, punishes DET
DeMarcus Cousins drained four 3-pointers in the first half of Wednesday's win vs. Detroit, finishing with 33 points (11-of-21 FGs, 7-of-11 FTs), nine rebounds, and one block.
The Kings needed this win in the worst way possible. DMC screamed and cursed at George Karl in front of the team after Monday's loss, but he avoided a team-imposed suspension and publicly apologized. "I let my frustrations get the best of me in the locker room after the San Antonio loss -- that is my bad," he said. "My frustration is not about any one person or player or coach ... My frustration is that we are 1-7, simple as that." Fantasy owners just need to hope that he keeps his cool and posts more lines like tonight's, even if the 3-pointers are fluky.

This apology doesn't mean much, water is spilled. It seems for sure that Karl's lost all confidence from all parties. I think his exit is nearing as per corymach's wish.

Since Divac obviously has authority, perhaps he could take to the sidelines and coach in Karl's stead. I mean, he is a former Kings player...

This is why Divac's a diva GM and not anything Pat Riley caliber. He's afraid Cousins might scream at him like he did to George Karl.

Well since trading coaches is "allowed" now after Doc Rivers, Denver and Sacramento should trade coaches.

Didn't this started on Jason Kidd?

Oh yeah, I forgot about that. Pretty dumb situations where teams hold coaches hostage instead of firing them and paying them to go away

Long before that, Pat Riley jumping ship to the Heat resulted in Miami sending a couple of Draft picks to New York.

And that is when the knicks started to fall apart !

Sure we had a nice run with JVG but management just made bad trade after bad trade with one of the worst that broke knicks fans hearts was traded Ewing to the Sonics for Glen Rice, that was the start of many a bad trade.

Yes, in 2014, the Bucks acquired coach Jason Kidd and gave to the Nets draft picks and that was when the Nets began to fall apart and Milwaukee always finished higher than Brooklyn.

Plus, Mike D'Antoni was traded to New York for draft picks by Phoenix and replaced in Phoenix by Terry Porter. Also, Isiah Thomas got fired by the Knicks after the trade.

Terry Porter was terrible in Phoenix & in Milwaukee.

Yes, we did make the 2004 playoffs at 6th seed with Terry Porter and won a game against Detroit.

It just killed me when Terry Porter replaced Kings current HC George Karl in 2003.
