2K Patches D-Rose

They sent this through a roster update. Anyone else get a new CF?

They posted about this on their FB page.

So what happens to people who changed his cyberface with Limnono? Should we delete the D Rose we downloaded? Also if I download the roster update will I get this new CF on my old edited rosters?

You should have it if you've been online today. When I say roster update, I mean it was sent over 2K's servers rather than coming through a patch like they did in previous years. And yeah, just delete any CF's you had for Rose. This one is better.

Idk I personally like EGS-MLLR's Rose with mask.. This one sticks too far out off of his face..I like the all in one texture more.

This one's way better. Plus, the updated hair.

Aw crap the roster downloads messes with my jumpshot editing. You think if I just downloaded the face would become available across all rosters I have?

Yeah, you shouldn't need to use a new separate roster.

Thanks TBM. It's a question I wasn't sure about as I never use default rosters unless they release a new player that wasn't in the game (like Whiteside last year).

Is it possible to hae Rose masked in old roster?

I mean If I load an old roster Rose CF is not updated....If I load current roster it is....I want Rose masked also on old roster...is it possible?

Rose's new CF (Longer hair, 3D Beard) should be showing even on Rosters generated before its update, but since his mask is attached as an accessory and not part of the cyberface, it won't be available on those rosters. Still, you could use limnono's trainer to transfer another player's mask to Rose (such as Justin Hamilton's).

Maybe I am wrong when I say this, but when I checked Rose's face number and png number with Greg's explorer, nothing seemed to be different. Maybe this updated Rose has a whole new number for his files.

That's true also hairstyle is different...what archive I should look for new Rose CF?

Maybe they added in the previous patch and didn't apply the face until now?

Yeah that's possible too...

Was there a patch last year when they added Whiteshide and Galloway ? If I remember correctly, the players suddenly showed up in the specific teams' rosters. There wasn't any additional downloading action on steam.

The Rose CF is in sync.bin for those who are confused. It's patched in the same way those alt jerseys are patched in, and the same way rosters are patched in.

So the updated faces are kind of more like a save file? Like how our save files (for MyCareer, MyGM etc.) are synced to the Steam Cloud?

Not quite a save file, but yeah, it's an archive that's always connected to 2K's servers/Steam cloud.

Where you guys able to open this file? If it has to be always connected why can we still see new added shoes and CFs when playing offline?

It doesn't always have to be connected. It just always is when you're online.
