The Kings shouldn't at all trade DeMarcus Cousins. Although I'd love for DeMarcus Cousins to be traded to the Bucks for Greg Monroe if George Karl wants it to happen, I doubt it. George Karl is projected to retire in 2016. Who do I project to take his position? John Calipari.Axel wrote:They're not trading Cousins after all the moves they made this offseason. Perhaps they try to move him by the trade deadline if things aren't working out.
What about Isiah Thomas with the Pacers after replacing Larry Bird and with the Knicks before being replced by that guy (Mike D'Antoni)? Was Isiah Thomas a good coach?Andrew wrote:I'd call D'Antoni a good coach, not a very good or great one. Coaches who are great or at least very good helm teams to championships, good ones tend to peak with respectable success in the regular season and a few decent Playoff runs.

Losses starts to pile up, that's when everyone starts to blame each other.
This. I'm going to expect Scott Brooks to be named as George Karl's replacement coach within a month into the season.[Q] wrote:Or a month into the season like they did MaloneNovU wrote:If George Karl is fired, it will be done during mid season when Rondo-Gay-Cousins experiment fails.

I meant this process:Andrew wrote:I thought you were predicting John Calapari to take over.
As for Brooks, he's apparently sitting out this season, with an eye to returning to the sidelines sometime after that.
I say to Divac, "Fire Karl! Name Mike Bibby as Interm! Then, name Calipari to replace Bibby."mp3 wrote:I read that there is pretty much just the owner and Divac who don't want Cousins traded while all the other big wigs including George Karl want him gone.
If I had to put myself in one of those boxes I'd trade him and hopefully get something good to work with in return.
Cousins is very very talented but he's just a moron plain and simple who hurts his team in so many ways that don't show up in the statsheet.
Corliss Williamson or Anthony Carter? These two would fit well in this case if thinking of former players. I remember Corliss Williamson with Detroit in NBA Live 2002. He could replace George Karl as big interm like Kevin McHale did on Flip Saunders in 04-05 in Minnesota. Good call. I've also made a debate on who Cousins want Karl to be replaced by between Corliss Williamson and Anthony Carter. It is a poll for him and fans on Twitter. I would want big coach Corliss over Karl as he is flexible with Cousins. Divac can offer a one year deal to Williamson in interm position and after that (in the 2016 offseason) if not happy with keeping him, name John Calipari to replace Williamson. Those would be good moves as I remember Williamson at 13th overall in 1995.mp3 wrote:In order to make Bibby the head coach he would at least have already be on the kings current coaching staff which he isn't and he has zero coaching experience sorry so it would be very unlikely.
They could however fire Karl and make Corliss Williamson head coach if your looking at ex players?
