How I hate these teasing trailers that don't even show one second of actual gamplay

There were some flashes... It's clear that the story mode will be the focus this year (and I'm personally fine with that).

I'm not too concerned about how the gameplay looks. Any concerns I have will only be allayed or confirmed once I get my hands on the game, and discover how the gameplay feels, what quirks it has (if any), and so on.

That said, I'm finding it difficult to get hyped about MyCAREER, mostly because I've found the storyline-driven approach off-putting these past couple of years. I get the impression that the production values will be great, the story itself might be good, but we'll again be locked to a character that I may not really sympathise or connect with, and the general experience too linear.

I really don't think this is a valid concern based on the fact that Spike Lee is writing the script this year. Sure, the character could be douchey, but that is much less likely to be the case than in previous years.

Until the possibility is ruled out completely, I feel it's a valid concern.

And if not a complete jerk, perhaps still too generic, or not quite the character I'd like to role-play as.

Hopefully they got some better voice acting from the players this year.

Who was the voice acting legend? Al Jefferson?

It's a possibility, but I think a year is enough notice to either replace or record new lines to fill in for him.

I like 2K15 non-gameplay trailers more that this year ones.
