Pacers to wear 'Hoosiers' uniforms in some 2015-16 gamesThe Hickory Huskers are coming to the NBA next season.
The Indiana Pacers will celebrate the upcoming 30th anniversary of ''Hoosiers'' by wearing the maroon and gold uniforms that Jimmy Chitwood and the Huskers made famous in the beloved film.
The Pacers said Tuesday that the Hickory uniforms will be worn in select 2015-16 games through a partnership with Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios, the company that debuted ''Hoosiers'' in 1986.

Good film to watch on a lazy Sunday and nice that the Pacers are showing respect to the grass roots of basketball in Indy

I must admit, I've never caught that film. Probably about time I sat down and watched it.

It's not the best but definitely worth watching if you have some free time, I remember watching it in 92 so it may seem very dated now

Hey, I still rate
Blue Chips!
And
Celtic Pride, but that's definitely in a "so bad/cheesy it's good" kind of way.

Hey Blue Chips is a top movie!
I prefer that over "He got game"

They're both up there as far as basketball movies are concerned.

Eric, Blue Chips is just something over and over again as a 14 year old falling in love with the game of basketball, I remember renting it then renewing it straight after !

I don't know but I fell asleep 20 minutes in when I watched Hoosiers... I prefer the likes of The Air Up There and Glory Road since I love those sports flicks that involves scouting in it... By the way, what the fuck is on with George Hill? He's 2 decades late for the Slim Shady trend...

Never even noticed that, seems a few players have being dipped this summer!
