Poor George Karl lol
Cousins - Rondo - Bargs and they were targeting Josh Smith too.

I guess we'll need to wait until numbers are announced before we can declare just how bad it is. It's not that Bargnani is completely useless, but he was a bust at #1 and he shouldn't be commanding top dollar...especially coming off four straight seasons where he's played in less than 50 games. If it's only a modest deal and for a couple of years, then it's not a disastrous signing.

From what I saw from in NY he just doesn't have any passion to be great, he just seemed happy to show up and blend in.

whoops:
The Brooklyn Nets have swooped in to sign former No. 1 overall pick Andrea Bargnani, swiping him away at the 11th hour from the Sacramento Kings.

The noteworthy part is that he turned down more money from the Kings to take the veteran's minimum in Brooklyn. I don't think it can get much worse for Sacramento fans.

If I'm a Kings fan I would be thanking the Nets.

Kings and Knicks are proving that more money doesn't mean anything. Kings whole organization is a joke

Knicks... not much better...

Maybe he doesn't want to move out of New York.

Not only did he give up on more money he also gave up on minutes. The Nets have more meat bags on their frontcourt rotation than the Kings.
Poor decision if he was looking to salvage what's left of his basketballer life.

A few years back, it looked like they might come close.

If Brook Lopez and Bragnani had to start together at 5 & 4, that would be one of the worst rebounding front court I have ever seen.
