Restricted free-agent guard Patrick Beverley has agreed to a four-year, $25 million deal to stay with the Houston Rockets, agent Kevin Bradbury told Yahoo Sports.
Beverley, 26, is one of the cornerstones to the Rockets and rejoins All-Star guard James Harden in the backcourt.
Houston reached agreement on the deal with Bradbury and Beverley on Saturday before they could fully explore the market for an offer sheet. Houston would've had the right to match a sheet and retain Beverley.
Free-agent guard Corey Brewer has agreed to a three-year, $24 million contract with the Houston Rockets, league sources told Yahoo Sports.
Brewer had exploratory talks with the Los Angeles Lakers, Sacramento Kings and New York Knicks, but his goal had been to return to the Rockets.
After a midseason trade from Minnesota, Brewer anchored the bench on the Rockets' run to the Western Conference finals.
