Forward Paul Millsap has agreed to a three-year, $58 million contract to stay with the Atlanta Hawks, according to multiple reports. Real GM's Shams Charania was first to report the news, followed by Tony Jones of The Salt Lake Tribune and others.
ESPN's Chris Broussard reported earlier Wednesday that the Hawks and Orlando Magic had each offered Millsap a four-year, $80 million contract.
Millsap spent the last two years with the Hawks after playing his first seven NBA seasons with the Utah Jazz. He averaged 16.7 points, 7.8 rebounds and 3.1 assists in 33 minutes per game last season for Atlanta, helping lead the team to a franchise-record 60 wins and the top seed in the Eastern Conference.
