That Suns will seriously explore their Eric Bledsoe trade options if they indeed strikes the deal w/B-Knight that @Gery Woelfel is reporting
The Clippers may not have had a first rounder in the draft, but they'll have one in camp. He is Royce White, a 2012 first-round draft pick of the Houston Rockets who has played in only three NBA games largely because of issues related to social anxiety disorder. The 6-foot-8 power forward never played for the Rockets because of a fractious relationship that developed over disagreements about how to treat his disorder, which included an acute fear of flying.
There is some interest within the Celtics organization in forward Paul Millsap, who is still generally classified in that second tier despite making two consecutive All-Star teams with the Hawks. Ultimately, though, the Celtics will not truly know where they stand with potential targets until courtships ramp up this week.
The Wolves are expected to sign Garnett for a 21st NBA season sometime after July 8 and before training camp begins in October. Garnett made $12 million last season. An educated guess at a new deal: As much as $8 million a year, perhaps on a two-year deal that includes an out-clause after the first season for each side.
There have been rumblings from league sources that the Knicks may pursue free agent Jeremy Lin this summer. No word what they would offer.
Some NBA execs are convinced former Marquette standout Wes Matthews will be bolting Portland in free agency. Matthews is expected to be one of three top-flight players to leave Portland during free agency, the others being star forward LaMarcus Aldridge, who appears to be leaning toward San Antonio, and starting center Robin Lopez, who figures to draw interest from numerous teams, including the Bucks.

Sense I get from latest calls is Marc Gasol, Kevin Love & Millsap are staying put. Aldridge, Monroe & DJ are in play
The Los Angeles Lakers, Houston Rockets and the Dallas Mavericks, Toronto Raptors and Phoenix Suns are among Aldridge’s suitors, but a source close to the situation said the Spurs are currently the frontrunner.
LaMarcus Aldridge itinerary starts Tuesday at 9 PDT (midnight EDT), with the Lakers, and goes, in order: HOU, SA, PHO, DAL, TOR thru Thursday. And, sorry, the Knicks get the last at bat, after Toronto Thursday.
You can only keep Phil Jackson down for so long. My sources tell me the Knicks will have a free-agent hauling, with Monroe leading the way.
Tobias Harris is viewed as at least a $10 million per year player, several executives say. One exec pegs Harris’ value at $12 to $14 million
That Tim Duncan is attending the Spurs pitch meeting with LaMarcus Aldridge tells you all you need to know about TD’s plan for next year.
