It's probably a resentment. If tanking went slightly better, Porgizungz could have turned into Okafor.

After Kobe saw Nance's tweet..

"The kid figured it out himself," Bryant said. "He's a kid, man. He actually sent me a great message [Friday], which is really funny. I looked at it [the message], and it was like, 'This is when you know it's about time to hang these things up, when your teammate writes you, Hi, Mr. Bryant.'

"I was like, 'What the f---?' But it was really nice and apologetic about what had happened. I said, 'Dude, listen. We've all said things and done things that we regret and wish we could take back. It's water under the bridge, man. Welcome to the team.' He writes back, 'Thank you, sir.'"

It was expected from Nance. The tweet was way out of line but we all say stupid things when we're young. It's nice to hear Kobe is so forgiving about it.

And the dude tweeted it 3 years go it's not like it was 3 weeks ago.

It just goes to show how careful you need to be with social media.

People forget Damian Lillard posted stuff about Lebron that was dug up a year or two ago. Can't blame them as they were teenagers saying what they wanted to say not knowing the position they'd be in a few years removed from the tweet.

Oh God, I could just imagine how cringe-worthy mine would be in my teens.

It was handled pretty well by both parties though. I'm also glad that it didn't come back to bite Nance anymore than it did. It would suck to see him lose his position on an iconic franchise because of a dumb post on social media.

Could have been funnier if he didn't apologize. Besides, I found his joke quite hilarious.
