Cavs could've won that one in regulation. Warriors came alive when it mattered, and caught a huge break when Irving went down. You hate to see that, he looked like he was in a lot of pain.
1-0 to the Dub Nation.

the irving injury is bad for the serious but the warriors were already up at that point. i dont think the cavs win that game even without the injury
Fri Jun 05, 2015 2:04 pm
Most likely, but it seemed to take all the wind out of their sails, all the same.
Fri Jun 05, 2015 2:33 pm
oh yeah they were defeated the second it happened. without him this series is a wrap. bad enough they lost love
Fri Jun 05, 2015 3:40 pm
It's norm to for Irving and Love to be injured. I found it abnormal to see Irving playing at all at this time of the year.

Hero ball ain't going to win it.
I feel sorry for LeBron. The second time he willed CLE to the Finals solely by himself and the second time he is facing a clearly superior team.
Hope he wins a couple of games for CLE so the haters/media don't go too hard on him this summer.

Cleveland's ISO ball and Tristan Thompson's rebounding almost enabled the cavs to pull off the upset
I thought GSW was right in defending L James straight up. Take away those dives by Mozgov, the rest of the cavs have no shots
I hope Kerr sticks with this. James may average 40 points this series.
I think klay Thompson's game is smoother than curry's. It's not flashy but is more well rounded. And he doesn't have to pose after every shot
Interested to see what coach Blatts adjustments are if GSW continues not to double on James
Oh there's goes another wide open layup passed up by Bogut...
Fri Jun 05, 2015 9:15 pm
LeBron can't beat he Warriors on his own and with no Love and possibly no Kyrie I just don't see how Cleveland can go the distance.

Only thing he locked all year long is the leg of Taj Gibson.
But he totally stopped Korver from scoring... For like 3 months...
If that's not lock down then I don't know what is lol

Fags already writing off LeBron and the Cavs just because they lost game 1.
LeBron always loses game 1 of all the Finals he's been in except for one (Dallas).
It's not all that bad with Kyrie being out for the season, means Outback Jesus will get more playing time and chances to impose holy justice by injuring GSW players.

Now I'm scared. Pretty sure he'll target Curry first.

He got a -13 in this game, but for sure he will have an impact for the rest of the series if he gets more playing time.

Invisible James is coming as he gives up on the series as we've seen in the past over and over again.
Curry for Finals MVP, Regular Season MVP, True MVP. LBJ's done. He's a laughing stock now, how much of a choker do you have to be, to fail 4 times in the Finals.

Whomever is calling timeouts and the offense needs to stop running the ISO for James. No one else is involved in the offense if GSW doesn't trap. Van gundy's suggestion of at running PNR to get the switch on Curry seems like a great idea

The series is over, guys. No Irving, No Love? Where the fuck is their "Big 3"?

Is Magic a choke ? Is Kareem a choke ? Is Wilt a choke?
all have 4 losses in NBA Finals.
It's a team game. LeBron had 44-8-6. What more can you want ? Lol at calling him invisible. The guy is pretty much the best player since MJ (Shaq and Duncan hold their own obviously).

Who's calling the shots?
That would be Coach James... i mean Blatt....

Only thing salty was LBJ's beat up face after missing that game winning shot. And maybe the calamari ring I had last night was bit salty too.

what does this say about the people who have never even made the finals? calling lebron a laughing stock is laughable in itself

Kyrie Irving has fractured knee cap, will miss 3-4 monthsThe Cleveland Cavaliers have lost All-Star point guard Kyrie Irving for the remainder of the NBA Finals after tests revealed he fractured his left knee cap in Game 1.
Irving received an MRI on Friday at the nearby Stanford Sports Medicine Clinic that revealed the fracture, the team announced. The Cavaliers said the All-Star guard would have surgery in the "coming days" at Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland. Irving is expected to be out the next three to four months.
Uh, ouch.
Sat Jun 06, 2015 9:55 am
bad news indeed. i still think the worst part is he hurt the knee at the very end. i am just waiting for someone to blame lebron for missing the buzzer beater. he hits that there is no overtime and irving dont get hurt. actually i am sure if i look at all the message boards people have already started blaming lebron

It's blatt's play calling when James misses the shot. Obviously when the shots go in it was James who called or changed the play
U mad? Yeah. U mad

Our best scorer is out. Unless LeBron evolves into MJ I think this series is over.
