That'd be a fun trivia note. On the bright side, probably not the embarrassing moment involving an MVP presentation...

Splash Brothers didn't do too good in game 2. Dub Nation in 5.

Conley deserved to be an All-Star over Lillard.

Memphis is in a great spot to win the series. I don't think the Warriors will come back to win this one. Worried about how they'll just shut down the Clippers in the next round.

Called it in April.

Zach Randolph beasting it.

Memphis winning the title would be most preferable to me.

Just shows hows irrelevant your regular season performances get in the Playoffs.
Best offense in the league getting destroyed.
I really want this to go to 7 as I don't care who advances.
Both have a rivalry with the Clippers and it's going to be fun.

I only watched part of 2nd to 3rd quarters. I was awestruck by this Marc Gasol who was a centerpiece for the Grizzlies on offense. His basketball IQ and ability to use his size were just amazing. I think he has a very good case to be the best center in this league.
Memphis defense was stifling indeed but the GSW just stopped attacking and took shots prematurely from outside. Also Klay Thompson was just non factor against lockdown D by Tony Allen. Even the floater he made looked forced and it reminded me of last year when Kawhi butt raped him.
Funny to bring this up but Barkley seemed to be right on the money at least for the part that I watched. "Jump Shooting Team" falling short. Even commentator mentioned about it, lol.
But this series is still very much alive. The Warriors still got the upperhand as long as they take it back home 2 apiece.

Wow, Grizzlies are playing on very high level. They are actually going to eliminate GSW if they continue playing like this!

Really wish the Warriors would win the series. Clips vs Dubs in WCF is a dream come true

How about the defensive performance of Golden State? Holding Memphis almost four points per possession under their regular season average.
Golden State is shooting much better than the Grizzlies, but the Grizz are making up for it by turning it over less. Otherwise this series is as close as can be currently.
The Grizzlies barely nabbed the last two games, this isn't like the other series where the Clippers are wiping the Rockets off the face of the earth despite just 49 total minutes from Chris Paul.

Nicely done by Steve Kerr. Instead of going to Klay, the Warriors had Green/Iggy/Barnes get going early game and built the lead fast. Klay looks pretty bad against Tony Allen. Good that they have other guys to go to this year.
Easy win for the Warriors.

I'm thinking that it might go to seven instead of the six I predicted, but I'm still liking the Warriors' chances of advancing.

Same here but I also like your prediction of Six. 60:40 chance for Six imho, 40 being 7 game series. In the meantime my prediction of Five has gone fishing. Fug

Harrison Barnes...ouch.
Thu May 14, 2015 6:43 pm
Oh my god that's awesome.
Thu May 14, 2015 6:51 pm
Tony Allen sat out today. Next one will be more interesting I guess, homegame for the Grizzlies.
Thu May 14, 2015 8:26 pm
To Barnes' credit, he came back out in the second half after that. Can't have been too bad, but that looked brutal.
Allen has
vowed to play on Game 6, despite his hamstring injury, not unlike Pau Gasol. And of course, CP3 is playing on a bum hamstring as well...I guess ACL injuries were getting a little passe.

I must say I am kinda disappointed in this series and in Bulls series as well. Allen and Gasol are both key guys that needed to be healthy.
Fri May 15, 2015 10:42 am
Bulls/Cavs has remained more competitive though, thanks in part to injuries on both sides.

Controversial no-call, but what a looooong bomb by Curry:
Crowd was certainly testy after that.
Sat May 16, 2015 2:05 pm
Crazy shot. Loved the sequence too. LoL, almost sad for Grizzlies tho.
11 people got their prediction right. Not sure how many of them are legit though(vote done before series start).
Houston or Clippers? Which team do you guys think matches up better against the Warriors? Part of me wants to see CP3 vs Curry. It'd be amazing.
