Mediocre coach who they were stuck with due to the team being so stacked they couldn't help but be a perennial top 2 seed. I bet Kevin Ollie takes over.

I thought Brooks was at least a decent coach. Good, not great, someone who could helm a talented team to respectable success, but certainly not in the same class as a Phil Jackson, Gregg Popovich, or Red Auerbach, or for that matter a Jerry Sloan or Lenny Wilkens. Still, it wasn't a bad run for the Thunder, and I've always admired his speech in the closing moments of Game 5 of the 2012 NBA Finals.

Was it really fair to fire him with guys injured all year long?

It's called we wanted to fire him ages ago but the team was too successful before now.

Seems to me coach's lifespan depends on Westy and KDork's health in Oklahoma.
