Talk about NBA 2K16 here.

So...who do you think it will be?
I've just posted an
article over on the main page regarding the possibility of it being James Harden, based on what might be a subtle hint by the official Facebook page. Then again, maybe not. As I said in the article, we gamers can read too much into things at times.
In any event, Harden and Russell Westbrook strike me as two likely candidates.

I think it will be Westbrook. After All Star he is a monster. I would like something like this:

S. Curry, J.Harden or R.Westbrook will be on the cover

J. Anthony

Whoever wins the MVP, which will probably Stephen Curry because his team is winning more than Rockets or OKC.

I assume Anthony Davis will be on the cover of either game this year

Everyone thought that Kawhi Leonard would get 2K15 cover (because he won the NBA Finals MVP), but Kevin Durant got on. So in that case, for NBA Live 16, here is my projection:
English and Greek: Giannis Antetokounmpo (Milwaukee)
Spanish: Marc Gasol (Memphis)
French: Tony Parker (San Antonio)
German: Dennis Schroder (Atlanta)
Swedish: Jonas Jerebko (Boston)
Croatian: Bojan Bogdanovic (Brooklyn)
Slovenian: Goran Dragic (Miami)
Polish: Marcin Gortat (Washington)
Russian: Timofey Mozgov (Cleveland)
Serbian: Nikola Vucevic (Orlando)
Lithuanian: Jonas Valanciunas (Toronto)
Bosnian: Jusuf Nurkic (Denver)
2K16, well is going to be, in my thoughts, Stephen Curry

Cover player deals tend to be worked out long before the Finals MVP is decided.

Corymach, wrong section, we talkin bout 2K.
PS Vucevic is Montenegrian, not Serbian.

It's got to be Harden or Westbrook. I'm 70% sure about Harden since 2k's been doing some suspicious things.

It should be noted that 2K has just updated their cover photo to spotlight Paul George's return, so the "Harden cover photo is a subtle hint" theory probably doesn't hold much merit at this juncture. Of course, even if it wasn't intended as a hint, he may still end up being on the cover.

Curry would also be a pretty good guess considering he's never been on the cover of a game. I'd say he and Davis are most likely the cover boys of both games this year.

I'd say either just Steph Curry or the Splash Brothers.
Mon Apr 20, 2015 11:21 am
That's a good suggestion. It wouldn't be the first time they've had multiple players on the same cover, and it'd make more sense to have two teammates who have formed quite a backcourt duo.

I think Steph Curry
NBA has been promoting the crap out of him this year, and 2k was making a big fuss about his jumper when 2k15 was about to release.
Being the MVp doesn't hurt either.

On SB Nation, thesaid it will be either Steph, Hareden or KD...

Definitely an interesting leak there. Not too surprised by those choices.

Only unsurprised with Stephen Curry and James Harden. Only for 2K. Kevin Durant surprises me because he was out for the season for '14-'15. So Durant won't get on NBA 2K16 cover at all.

For my 2c, this is something I really couldn't care less about. Dunno why it seems such a popular topic on the net (for Madden, etc. as well).

Just something fun to speculate on, I suppose. I agree that it's inconsequential in the long run, though some gamers do take it a lot more seriously than they probably should.

Funny thing is that you got it right (Germany and France)
