Anthony Mason in "grave" condition

Report.

One of Mason’s former teammates in New York, who did not want to be identified, describe his condition as grave.

He's just 48. Terrible for his family, hopefully he pulls through, but it's not sounding good.

 One of my favorite PFs to watch in the past. Him and Oakley I thought were very similar in terms of body type. You don't see those kinda build too often these days.

They certainly made for a burly, bruising frontcourt when they played together in New York.

Mason was like a brick wall of muscle when he played in the league and like most athletes when they stop playing if they don't keep up with basic fitness then all that muscle just turns to fat... I should know lol

I remember watching a knicks game last season and seeing Mase sitting courtside, he was pretty big then like Michael Sweetney big!

I hear he is on the mend and that he gets in good shape for himself and his family, Mason was a favourite of mine for many years and I wish him a speedy recovery.
