I can't stop watching that. Even the commentator laughed.

WTF

Probably not the best time to pull out some risque humour, but yeah, no need to make a huge deal out of it.
Incredible performance from Thompson. I think he was worthy of an All-Star berth before that, but I'm guessing he's definitely punched his ticket to New York after that.

What a shame. Just when you thought the Pistons were going to make a great run, Jennings gets injured. It looked bad. Can the Pistons still make the playoffs? Looks like DJ Augustin and Diwiddle get to carry more load.
Sun Jan 25, 2015 11:07 pm
Augustin is decent, this means Andre can get some reps in at his true position point guard, and it'll force more Monroe passing by running things through him, which when it's hott, it's erotic.
Plus the rest of the conference is terrible. Would still prefer to miss the playoffs though...

Whiteside say what. That man is a fortress
Mon Jan 26, 2015 6:29 am
12 FUCKING BLOCKS? JEEZ
Mon Jan 26, 2015 6:45 am
In 20-something minutes. He must've felt like he was a 14 year old playing with a bunch of 8 year old in the school yard.

LeBron would have stayed if only the Heat bothered to look for talent like that instead of sticking Chris Bosh as their center.

Exactly. Instead, they made a hype about Danny Granger who was looking like his hip was going to break any moment and freaking Shabazz Napier. That was the talent that was supposed to make Lebron stay in Miami. Nice try though

Whiteside absolutely blew off. What a game.
Jesus shadow, I don't know what is shitier: your shitty name/avatar/signature, or you shitty name/avatar/signature.
It's all of the above.
Mon Jan 26, 2015 12:27 pm
Good thing Gibson didnt play a full game. Whiteside would have had 20 something blocks
Mon Jan 26, 2015 1:33 pm
I figure Portland will slide down the standings further.
In Detroit, DJ Augustin is more than capable of carrying the scoring load. Dinwiddie can get some burn and play some defense next to Meeks.

Hassan Whiteside with a triple-double!
Mon Jan 26, 2015 6:58 pm
I don't know if this is true but I read one of the posts that sample size data has Hassan as the best defensive players under the rim forcing opponent to shoot lowest fg% than Dwight or any others in the league.
Anyway, his contract is gold. I think the Heat has for one more year at dirt cheap price. Kinda hard to believe no team gave him much look at all which includes Raptors, Clippers, so on.

He'll get a raise, for sure.

Lol seriously? Surprised no one else really gave him a chance? This is a good story and now you put on the revisionist history cap again
Tue Jan 27, 2015 9:50 am
Typical gordie,

. Actually I've read that the Heat gave him a shot about a year or two ago but decided not to sign him. Several teams didn't even give him a shot. This good story actually goes deeper.
Tue Jan 27, 2015 12:50 pm
So how are you kinda surprised then? He should have been given more chances based on his college career and pro Chinese career?

Bigmen who had knee surgeries are big risks perhaps that's one reason behind it...
Tue Jan 27, 2015 4:33 pm
A scrub like Hassan Whiteside doing well on a shitty Heat team is no surprise. Even Mike James had 20ppg then for a shitty Raptors team or Henry Sims last season for the Sixers.
Tue Jan 27, 2015 6:16 pm
Brightside, Strongside, Wadeside, a lot of side talk these days. The Heat plays very well when he's on the floor. But he kinda had trouble as a starter because of clumsy fouls. Perhaps Spo will keep him on the bench but starts him second half. Nonetheless he's earned his minutes well above 20s.
