Speaking of food, I had a lot of fun trying out all kinds of food. Mexican places were many, affordable, and tasty. Burgers were good everywhere. BBQ was cheap and great. Buffets were everywhere and affordable. Pho was quite the same from where I'm.
But Japanese, and Chinese food were quite underwhelming. Especially Japanese food were pure crap. Price was x2 but taste was 1/3. Chinese was localized and tasted blend. We probably have better East Indian food here as well.
If you guys ever come to Vancouver area, I can tell you some nice dining places with great diversity.

I've had Pho in many different places, even out in the East coast and in Montreal, but most places are pretty average. There are a few places out here that are at a slightly higher level than the rest but you almost have to be "in the know" to find them.

American Chinese food places are crap. You have to go to communities with a significantly higher Asian population to find good/authentic Chinese restaurants. Indian food is basically non-existant here.

I'm guessing it's your location, but I found 6 Indian food places within 3 miles of my home with Google.

In Vancouver, you'll notice half the population are Chinese and East Indians. So I've grown accustomed to their food culture naturally. One of my best friends is Chinese so he'd take me around to all kinds of Chinese restaurants. In last couple years I've learned to love Hot Pot and Hunan Spicy food. They're daaaamn good, I tell ya.
But we barely have any Mexican restaurants here unlike in California. We got Sushi place virtually in every corner though.

There's 2 that I know of in Anaheim where I used to live, but I was exaggerating a little. People here don't exactly say "let's go have Indian food" the same way as Mexican, Japanese, or Chinese, or even Vietnamese or Korean BBQ (which is actually really popular around here).

Gotta edit that background so it doesn't say "Modding" anymore but "2K".

I'm back again, after a long, long time... good news all around for me so this deserves a bump... I think?
I have a nice going job right now, and I graduated from my journalism career a couple of days ago so... some free time coming.
MyGM starting tonight to celebrate. HOW'S EVERYONE DOING AROUND HERE?
