Durant admits George's injury made him drop out of Team USA

More so than physical and mental exhaustion, though I guess that's a pretty good euphemism for "Everything I had to play for Team USA, that injury stripped it away from me.", when it's all said and done.

Not everyone is happy about it.

He's one of the good guys at true superstar level that's hard to hate. But people still find ways to taunt,

He should have admitted it in the first place. I think nobody believed the fatigue bullshit he cited for his reason.

He's technically played full seasons + playoffs in last two years. And he's been a relatively injury free player all his career while logging tons minutes(3000 minutes played per season) with tons usage.

George's injury + Fatigue sounds like a reasonable excuse to me.

I think it's fair enough too. Perhaps he could've been a bit more open about the situation at the time, but I don't think that would've prevented people from being harshly critical.
