Shoe endorsement

Anyone here got a shoe endorsement? I read in other forums, they're on the 2nd or 3rd season still no shoe endorsement.

I never understood why we couldn't wear the other shoes like Reebok or Converse or Under Armour at least until we get offered a deal later on plus its better than wearing the generic shoes...there are plenty of rookies wearing nike and Adidas and aren't under the companies.

Exactly.. There are players who aren't signed to any shoe company and they wear all kinds of different shoes.. I think Nate Robinson has one of the craziest shoe games in the league.. I've seen him wear both Nike and Jordan so we should be able to freelance until we sign..

Just got my shoe endorsement last night! Signed with Jordan and it is awesome! The only downside this year is that you can't get any Jordans for free to wear in the park. You only wear free, licensed Jordans during games, whether they're away, or if they're at home. Kind of suck that 2K is trying to suck our money out by draining our VC and making us pay for shoes to wear outside of games.

I'm 4 games away from the playoff in my 1st season (half-season) and I've got the cinematic where the manager talks to me about shoes endorsement, then a random guy show up and like the player and him act know each other, tells me that I'm gonna have a contract.. One of these day.. maybe..

Didn't played next-gen version. And that's stupid, if it's your rival from last year, well you should be on your sophomore year and not undrafted.. It's funny like the journalist who ask me if I'll do a sacrifice on my contract to play for my hometown team.. I'm from France man

Got that cinematic from Jackson Ellis as well and he said he both hold Nike and Jordan (I think? I'm not exactly sure) and I he needs to make sure I'm a winner. I'm 5 games into my 2nd season and still no sign from him. Sick and tired of the default 2k shoes, man

I just got the endorsement exactly in the first game of 2016 (the year, not the season) after a big game against CP3

I bump this one cause it would be stupid to create another topic for this question : (SPOIL) I had the cinematic with my manager telling me that I can sign with adidas and then I had to choose Adidas/Nike/Jordan, I choosed Jordan and nothing happened yet, I only played one game after that but I'd like to know when I'll get it ? Begening of 2016 ? I'm the 15th of December right now... I'll add that I got the cinamatic with a beautiful Sprite shirt and a fusion (bug) of my Peak TP9 and the original shoes

I've heard that you get the shoe endorsement only after gaining all the previous endorsements available in the menu.

Naw I got mines and I didn't have all the other endorsements

im in either my 4th or 5th season, and havnt gotten it yet. obviously, being that far, im not playing nearly all games. i play like 10 games a year, and then all playoff games. i got the meeting with ellis in my second season, right before all star break... yet, still wearing generics. 3 time champ and finals mvp, 3 time all star, 2 time defensive POY, and one time MVP... still no shoe deal.

iv gotten everything BUT the shoe deal so thats not accurate. playing all the playoff games helps alot, actually. obviously playing more games would make things move even quicker, but being as far in as i am, with the awards i have, its stupid that id still have to play more. iv played over 100 games and i average an a+, so that along with my accomplishments SHOULD be enough for a damn shoe deal, you know?

still didnt get it, and yes i sim alot of games, which was what i was explaining. i just won another championship, i believe its my 4th. along with finals mvp. played all playoff games, also played the first 8 games of the following season, and then simmed up to the first day of january. thru the 18 playoff games, and 8 games following, i received one cutscene (minus the usual offseason junk) and that was the finals cutscene when you sit by ur locker after winning for "one last look". it really seems like the shoe deal is a weighted endorsement where you have to play damn near every game, which is so damn time consuming its retarded. i work and go to school full time so im not trying to play 3 or so games a day for however long just to be able to wear some damn shoes. it feels like 2k is more concerned with punishing you for choosing to sim games than they are with rewarding you for playing and/or ur accomplishments.

the outcomes should be: all endorsements are possible with good stats/rewards rather you sim or play. and EXTRA, secret endorsements or player interactions should be given for playing more and more games. i shouldnt have to play everything to get the full career experience. i should be able to let my player handle his career and get what realistically would come to him if he does well. and i should get rewarded for 'helping'. not punished for enjoying a sim style game as opposed to stepping in and doing it all myself.


edit - idk if it matters, but i play offline only. my desktop, which i have for gaming, isnt connecter to the internet, so im starting to wonder if the shoe deal is one of the online only features this year.
