Not for me.

That does not fix it for me.
For reference, here is my DXDiag. I should be good to play the game with the recommended specs, right?
My Steam username is Pabig

Nexus14, Pabig93, with your spec you should run this game without any problem, are u sure u are not running this on integrated graphic unit? whats your mainboard bro?
Sun Oct 19, 2014 4:51 am
I have a gigabyte motherboard. But I made sure that the game was using my GTX 770 by looking at it in the Nvidia Control Pannel.
Sun Oct 19, 2014 4:55 am
did u create separate profile in Nvidia control panel for this game? and check there 770 is assigned for nba 2k15?
Sun Oct 19, 2014 4:57 am
Yeah, that's exactly what I did.
Sun Oct 19, 2014 5:02 am
Damn it, your issue is so weird. I did not read carefully but did you install this
http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download ... px?id=5555and
http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download ... x?id=14632and all updates for visual c++
u should already got this on your windows updates installed but who knows..
Sun Oct 19, 2014 5:04 am
Yeah, done that several times. Also tried uninstalling every single version of VC++ and reinstalling again.
Sun Oct 19, 2014 5:07 am
uninstall of nvidia drivers with some remover?
other games works fine?
firewall off? antivirus off?
Sun Oct 19, 2014 5:12 am
I uninstalled my GPU and all its drivers completely, and then did a complete reinstall with the latest driver.
I tried turning my antivirus off. I made sure that the firewall isn't blocking anything.
Every single other game I have works fine. And needless to say that I can max out any demanding title while keeping 50-60 fps.

sp1 for win7 is on?
did u change something in videoconfig file?
and last and worst, did u reinstall nba 2k15?
Sun Oct 19, 2014 5:16 am
Yep. Windows 7 Professional 64 bit Service Pack 1.
I edited a couple things back and forth in the VideoConfig file while trying to get the game to launch, but nothing that should create problems.
And yes, I did uninstall, redownload the whole 40.8 GB and installed the game again.

Thanks for keeping the PC gamers in the loop Leftos. Makes us feel like our voices are heard.
I replaced my vid card and it works for me so I can't do the experiment without pulling everything out and going back to square one, which I kinda don't wanna do. Any of you guys?

Leftos. Do you know if the incoming patch addresses the issues with launching the game? Ten days and counting, and I still can't play it. I'm starting to lose what little pacience I have left.

I had this problem when I had to re-install the game. I deleted the video settings file in the NBA 2K15 folder(user/<user name>/appdata/roaming/NBA 2K15). Then ran a registry clean up using CCleaner, and the game launched fine after that. Even after putting back all my settings the way I liked, it still launches fine.

So, I just installed the patch that finally dropped today for consoles and the PC version. The game still won't launch. I'm not really surprised... Since it wasn't mentioned, I was quite sure that the problem wouldn't be addressed with the patch. But this is absolutely insulting. It's been over 11 days now since I bought the game, and I still haven't been able to play for a single minute. 2K remain silent. I'm gonna start looking for a refund on Steam very soon.

Since you have the patch, you should have a CrashReport.txt file in "%appdata%\2K Sports\NBA 2K15". It would be helpful if you could attach it in a reply. I understand your frustration and the logs should help us track down and hopefully fix the issue.

There is indeed a crash report now. I've attached it.
Thanks for the quick reply once more, Leftos. It's good to have somebody listening.

Your log is exactly the same as Pabig93's. I'm going to recommend the same things. Update to the latest audio driver (or if you already have it, reinstall it), and reinstall DirectX as well.
viewtopic.php?f=157&t=97052#p1760242Please let me know if that resolves the issue.
If any of you open up CrashReport.txt and it looks exactly like this, please follow the same instructions.

Wed Oct 22, 2014 8:37 am

I have installed the DirectX and vcredist files that come with the game. Still get the same Crashreport.
Wed Oct 22, 2014 8:45 am
I also updated my audio drivers (and restarted twice) and made sure my DirectX was also up to date.
Game still does NOT launch. Crash report looks the same.

I'll just try again tomorrow. Almost 1 am over here in Germany and I should get some sleep now.
Anyways, many many thanks for your effort Leftos, always good to have a dev trying to help personally, I am certain that you guys will find a solution for this.

Do you have this file in both the mentioned locations?
C:\Windows\System32\X3DAudio1_7.dll
C:\Windows\SysWOW64\X3DAudio1_7.dll
